Valid point i won't strip of that. Also to be fair Fleury is a great goaltender but the penguins have so much offensive talent on their team he can have a shit night and give up 4-5 goals and the pens would still win.

Vezina should be Lundqvist vs Quick. Quick doesn't get nearly as much credit as Lundqvist but they have both had solid seasons. Lundqvist taking Quick so high in the all-star game is a huge testament as to how highly he must think of Quick as well.

I don't think he'll win, but I think he should be at least 2nd.

LOL Thats what they were saying of Brad Theissen (Pens AHL goalie, normal Backup Brent Johnson is out) playing in only his 3rd career game versus Winnepeg. They were like, "How much easier can you get to ease into the NHL? He gives up 4 goals and he still doesn't feel like he has to shut the door the rest of the way tonight." Fleury is still one of the best in the league, definitely top 5 no doubt. Gets waaaaay overlooked. In terms of agility, hes #1 in the league. Hes just had issues in his career (that hes come a long way in minimizing/negating, hence his stellar year this year) in positioning and rebound control. Second best goalie I've ever seen in shootouts behind Semyon Varlamov. Fleury is aces at them.

I didn't get to see the Nucks/Hawks game. Heard it on the radio though and just saw the clips. What a fuckin game. The NHL better wish for these teams to face each other in the playoffs. The game lived up to its hype. Both teams were gritty, shitty on the PP, amazing PK, gooning it up and goalie's making insane saves. Final goal of the game was a weird bounce. Glad to see the 'Nucks can step up. As for the Keith hit. I like Duncan Keith, just sad that he decided to throw an elbow then attempt to look for the puck. 2 games max.

Sounds like the Wings/Rangers game was epic too.

Lundqvist is faster than Fluery. They are probably about equal on Penalty Shots/Shootouts.
