2011-2012 NHL Season Thread: FUCK COREY PERRY

Over the last 3 years, the Leafs werent even in a playoff spot on Oct. 31st. Over the last 3 years, 7 of the 8 teams in the top 8 in the east on Oct 31st made the playoffs. (2008 Buffalo 4th, finished 10th, 2009 NYR 3rd, finished 9th, 2010 Atlanta 8th, finished 12th)

The west is a cluster fuck but 6 of 8 made it 2008 and 2009 but last year only 4 of 8 made it.

Vokoun is clearly playing like a Top 5 goalie and now his team doesn't suck. Caps can actually play defense now and they seem to have fixed the PP and can score again, while playing D. Way too early but man... if they can play like this in the playoffs it will be amazing.

I know Neal is a notoriously good starter according to Palin, but I cannot wait to see him have some real time with Crosby or Malkin. He's been absolutely incredible for us with our two big guns out.

red wings kind of got boned with the scheduled until December with B2B's home and away and long 5-6 day rests between games.

He's been so good this year though, even better than before. He'll always be streaky and I have no doubt he eventually cools down, but he'll definately get 30 this year.
