iirc, the shot that hit him in the head was a wristshot, not a slap shot. Not that I'm taking away from how hard Chara's wristshot MAY be, but he didnt fucking wind up. I think Joe Sakic at one point had one of the hardest wrist shots, and his slap shot was never talked about, so just cause Chara can rip it at 109, doesnt mean his wrist shots are equally speedy.
