The worst part is NHL.com is showing it off like its cool and something to laugh about and yet the league wants to be super serious about referee competency this postseason and anyone saying anything less than "You did a perfect job" is getting hit with a major fine? Hypocrisy?

also re: the Clowe thing, this doesn't exactly happen often, I wouldn't be surprised if per the CBA this doesn't actually fall under the umbrella of things that the league can dole out supplemental discipline for, but if it does they should at least hit him with a fine or pop him for tomorrow's game.

edit: yeah, per the most recent PD article the rulebook does not in fact allow supplemental discipline for this since he didn't get involve in some sort of skirmish and whatnot.

Thoronas, need your photoshop / style advice for the prop I plan on bringing to the home playoff games. So I bought this flag for $6 on Amazon:

I'm thinking of either printing a large Preds logo at Kinko's and stapling it in the middle over most of the snake and leaving the rest as is. Or, I'm thinking using Weber's face from this photo in the same spot:

Yeah, it's the Express. If the players are in the farm systems of NHL teams(CBJ in this case) I'm assuming the main franchise will find another farm team to form a relationship with. The players signed directly to the ECHL team are probably boned and have to find a new team on their own. Sucks for the local guys who made the team.
