    Interesting thing about the Turris/Phoenix story that I didn't know is that if he doesn't get traded or start playing by Dec 1st then he can't play at all this season. It sounds like the Phoenix GM isn't going to trade him so Turris is probably going to have to suck it up, take a one year deal for cheap and then play in the minors otherwise he could really screw himself.

    Leafs V Rangers tonight. Some Leafland Headlines

    -This could be the first time in a while we get out of October with a playoff record. Our performance against bubble teams has so far been great, despite losses to Boston and Philly (who we can't stay ahead of anyway). Tonight's game against the Rangers is a real teller, as NYR is expected to compete for the 7th/8th spot in the conference.

    -Connolly's back. Will be interesting where/how he plays.

    -Gustavsson back in net. Son, I am disappoint.

    Honestly he played an amazing game against Philly, and Leaf fans are too harsh on him. He stood on his head in the second period, and Komisarek's penalty was purely to bail out gus from a dangerous loose puck situation. On the flip side, his time to prove himself is running low.
