While price details are still unavailable, Tecmo Koei have another update on Warriors Orochi 3’s North American release date. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will be released on different dates, says Tecmo Koei, community manager, Chin Soon Sun.



The download-only PlayStation 3 version will be available on March 20th. The retail Xbox 360 version will be released a week later on March 27th. The game will have Japanese voiceovers with English subtitles.

Probably 40 or 50, they never release games on PSN for full retail price (from what I've noticed they're usually 40 at highest), plus they already said it wouldn't be full retail price.

Digital Warriors Orochi 3 Will Cost $49.99

Warriors Orochi 3 will make its debut in the West tomorrow as a PlayStation Network download. While the crossover beat ‘em up will strike stores in PAL territories, the PS3 version for North America is digital only. Siliconera confirmed with a representative from Tecmo Koei that Warriors Orochi 3 will cost $49.99 on PSN.



That’s $10 less than the Xbox 360 version, which will be released in stores in North America and Europe.



Warriors Orochi 3 brings together characters from Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors plus a few characters from the Tecmo Koei archive into a hack and slash game. The game incorporates the Bonds system from Dynasty Warriors 7 and has a battlefield editor for players that want to create and share custom maps. The editor allows players select which generals appear, rearrange voice lines, and if you have the PS3 version you can rate maps too.

Picked this up recently on 360 and holy shit this is great. I've skipped out on DW7 on PS3 and I may pick it up if Empires is a retail re-release. So far I'm liking Nemea,Zhou Tai, and Sima Zhao. Sima is a god damn beast.

Yeah, WO3 is definitely pretty good, I just hate some of the stupid shit koei changed for some officers... The only Power female is Nuwa, like wtf, even though she's fucking OP as fuck and like one of the best chars out of all in the game, but shit, not even Ginchiyo is Power type and she makes the most sense for a power type yet she's Tech, and tech fucking sucks compared to other 3 types.


Best character in game is Xiahou Ba by far, that bitch is pure rape mode but he can get boring to play really fast too.

Can always abuse interim save, I just use that right before I die, some stuff is bullshit... Like Himiko's Musou for example, strongest fucking musou in game, shit is hella OP pretty much have to interim save to survive it or otherwise you'll die, even after getting game over, it'll still let you continue the stage where you interim saved at.
