Haven't played a DOA game since DOA4 on my 360, there are a lot of fighters I didn't recognize in that trailer haha. Female character exploitation aside, I'm looking forward to this game. Not a big Fighter kind of guy but DOA always felt more my speed than Street Fighter or Virtua Fighter.

I don't see how this could even be a bad thing. People want to mod the shit out of DOA5, it's going to sell copies because of that. Last time I checked businesses were entities that make money. Why give any shits about what people do with the game after they've bought it. It's like Bethesda complaining about people making mods for skyrim, for some people that was the entire point of the purchase.

Japanese devs with little contact with "western" devs and the community don't understand the benefits of having a large, cash-spending modding community. "Western" companies, like Valve/Bethesda, do. Japanese companies that do have contact with "western" devs, like Capcom, understand how much potential cash is in having a subset of modders buy every single PC title you release.

Its not surprising, but it -is- hilarious that a company all about making money is getting in a kerfuffle. It must be Itagaki himself getting all pissy that his precious "children" are actually showing nips and clits now instead of just his "tasteful" nudity.

Season Pass includes 79 costumes to be released for Last Round. There is also a Ultimate Content set for $93 that includes 237 costumes from DoA5U.

This game will ensure there is never another Team Ninja game released on PC again. The modding for one, and then the insane amount of people that are going to sail the seas with it directly because of this DLC bullshit.
