Eh, I just google-translated it and it says no such thing. Just the vague "for exchange of these totems..."
haven't been playing lately, is that the 1.2 patch?Patch delayed till Friday by the way, don't know if you guys saw.
Probably the only ones doing Ifrit tonight, but the fight seems like much more of a pain in the ass this time around. Granted we werent lucky at all with Ifrit weapons pre-update so we still only had one, but the fight felt like it was moving at a snail's pace and the DD said comboing off him was hard to position right post-Hellfire.
MP isn't an issue at all like I thought it would be, but damage certainly is.
Ifrit is a fucking blast now. Longer fight but so much more interactive.
For people that have been farming ifrit post update, hows totem drop rate been? from what I understand you need 10 per weapon so hopefully it isnt terribad.
Like Moogle, totem drop rate is not 100% and weapons can still drop (directly into inventory I believe) at the same random type/frequency. And you need 10 totems. Silliness.
Much more manageable to tank though. The new Aegis Boon and Stoneskin shine here. Sanguine Rite on tank = infinite MP.
Totem drop rate is horrid, I've had one drop to me in around 12kills.
Yeah the totem drop rate is pretty bad, doesn't really speed up receiving drops from him at all.
I'm getting the feeling the totems are less about an individual collecting enough for a weapon, but a group/LS gathering enough to get one of their members a weapon they need.
Basically, dumping them all on their resident Archers to gear for Feast of Fools.
I disagree, for the simple fact that you can get a totem and a weapon from the same chest at the same time. Our first kill post update I got Bow(fifth bow yay -_-) and a totem. It may not speed you up much, but it's something.
I agree completely.
I know this is probably bordering on facing right on Firesday at 18:03 on a full moon, but has anyone tried testing to see if totem drop rate is improved at all by breaking horns? I sort of figured that would be their requirement for drop, but obviously it isn't. Even if it is about a group getting enough for a person, the drop rate is still pretty awful since we only saw maybe 4 or 5 total in a group of 12~or so wins the other day.
Ugh, five in one run makes me super jelly. I guess it's always possible people in our group just aren't speaking up when they're getting them, but we don't require people to give them up to anyone, so there's really no incentive to keep it a secret <_<.
I'm sure no one I go with is going to say they got any... >:E
