Yeah 82 people for AE and 102 for UMvC I will see you next month WNF
Wow no AE stream LOL
82 people for AE. That's practically a major there. They are going to need more space....
Any tips for people who are clearly using turbo on their LPs and LKs? I lost over half of my PP to those jackasses last night. -.-;
were they playing chun or bison by chance? you gotta frame trap them to blow up the crouch tech
One was playing Dictator (which I suck against anyway since I never fight any...) the other was swapping between Sagat and Ryu.
lol, that LG cup, Mike Ross as 7th place now gets to go to Korea!
Although I think he'd do better than some of the guys ahead of him minus Wolfkrone...
yea this x100
when i realize people are just going full tilt to spam random dps/tatsu. I pray i can get atleast 1 knock down and then just continue using crossup lk to beat out the Dps. Cammys jump lk is so awesome. stuffs wake up dps 99% of the time unless i fuck up lol
I can't do shit against wakeup dps, even if I crossup with j.mk their dp just gets autocorrected and hits me from behind.
Practice your safe jump set ups, you'll love them
Edit: also, against guys who have 3 frame dps, do empty jump -> throw instead.
I have been recently! I think I actually landed one successful safe jump against you the last time we played. My problem with working in safe jumps is that it requires a lot of adjustments to my overall play, like using m.dp as a combo ender instead of h.dp or h.tatsu, using forward throw instead of back throw, etc.
Combofiend won using Oni? what fuck is this shit?
Lost my loser's bracket match to this scrubby viper that I lost to at our last semi-major that I should be way more than capable of beating, having possibly my saltiest week ever at this game.
D:
That sucks Calli... =/
I found out one thing that's going to help me out with my game. I haven't been using Option Selects since I didn't know what they were. Found a couple simple ones that don't appear character specific so they should help.
Btw, I think I'm starting to have a problem. I'm using "fighting game speak" in my normal conversations now.
Yeah, the most common universal one is the crouching throw tech, low block + throw + whatever your best crouching combo starter normal is.
