+1 Calli!
Calli, sir, you need a new sig.
Instant intrugue.Xbox stick worked plug-n-play style <3
Kinda wondering if my Hori will do the same. The PC version is only 20 bucks and it would end the debates over who gets the Xbox for the night.
What kind of specs do my PC need to run the game really well? Is there a benchmark I can download?
Obviously I can do things like Low rez or removing backgrounds to help.
I believe there is a benchmark (there is one inside the retail version at least), but I don't have a link, sorry.
There's a benchmark built into the game that will auto configure your system after. It honestly doesn't take a ton to run the game either, I have a machine with an E6600, 6GB of RAM, 9800GT and it still gets 100 FPS on full settings.
Well, nevermind. There's no way to get an HRAP EX to work on a PC. The buttons work but there isn't a way to get the joystick to register as anything. =/
Doesn't require too much beef, also you can test your joystick beforehand, just plug it into a USB port and see if it shows up in your devices as a game controller. Wired 360 controllers are almost always plug & play.Requirements and Recommendations
So the next question is, what sort of hardware do you need? The reality is, it doesn’t take a very high spec PC to deliver a console-like experience. Look to the recommended setup for even better than a console like experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- OS: Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7
- Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz and up
- Memory: 1 GB RAM
- Graphics: DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0 and up supported (operation on-board is not guaranteed)
- Video: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 and up (except for NVIDIA GeForce 7300), VRAM: 256MB and up (operation sharing with main memory is not guaranteed) or ATI Radeon X1600 and up VRAM: 256MB and up.
- Hard Drive: 4.5 GB free hard drive space
- Sound: DirectSound, DirectX9.0c Compatible Audio
- Other Requirements: Online play requires software installation of and log-in to Games For Windows – LIVE
Recommended Hardware:
- OS: Windows Vista/Windows 7
- Processor: Intel Core2 Duo 2.0 GHz and up
- Memory: 2 GB RAM
- Graphics: DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0 and up supported (operation on-board is not guaranteed)
- Video: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 and up, VRAM: 512MB and up (operation sharing with main memory is not guaranteed)
- Hard Drive: 4.5 GB free hard drive space
- Sound: DirectSound, DirectX9.0c Compatible Audio
Make sure its set to "LS" instead of "DP" I think...
I think that's only a madcatz thing, I believe the problem with HRAPs is that you can't change that.
Solution: Make your g/f do whatever she's doing on the PC, lol.
oooooh I get it now, lol.
lol She's usually wanting to play ME2 or other games.Solution: Make your g/f do whatever she's doing on the PC, lol.
WHO IS GOING TO FINAL ROUND THIS WEEKEND?
Thinking about it, but I have too much other local stuff going on.
twitch community manager so cool
Connection's fine on my end tonight and I can't for my life get a non-laggy game in on AE PC, even vs. greenbar/A ranks.
Is your framerate set to variable or smooth? Change it to fixed if so.
