Is there such a thing as a fight stick that is below or around $100 that is reliable? Or am I better off waiting til EVO? I know that's when the good sales drop.

i've seen the higher-end hori's go on sale on amazon for under $100 a couple times (although not very recently that i can think of). they normally go for like 120-130 though, which isn't too bad.

The price on TE's fluctuates a bit around big tournament times when discounts are going. You can find them from 90-150 depending on how many are being sold at the time. I bought my TE Round 2 off Ebay a while back for 130 w/shipping, but I also found a TE R1 on craigslist that was barely used for 85 which a friend bought and then later sold to me for 80 so yeah, just keep your eyes open and be patient for a good stick because you really do get what you pay for.

TE's, VLX's, Q4's are all great sticks. I would not recommend getting an SE though, you'll just end up wanting a TE down the road.

There's literally a cornucopia of flavours to satisfy your fight stick appetite. The cheapest one from 2008 is the Hori stick. I've seen it for 35 bucks, not bad for a first entry. Now, if you can get a few more bucks I'd get Hori RA Pro V3. Last, if you're willing to spend a hundred and fifty buckaroos, I'd suggest: Qamba Q4RAF Stick.

Yeah, not being able to push buttons after a blocked st. rh doesn't change anything... Not that it isn't a deserved nerf, but saying it doesn't "hurt" is retarded. Raging demon characters + ken will be able to punish with super as well.

Why not pick u2 to counter ken's u2 on teleport? I never see akuma mains do this.

Sako is the only person out there playing Ibuki how she was meant to be played, but FeiLong is just too damn powerful wow. With Fei its like he just has to stand there and stare to make the opponent drop to 40% lol. Too easy.
