Now that I'm on my break I decided to give the trials a go. So far I've completed 18 characters and I doubt I'll get the rest. Some of them are ridiculous.

but i really dont feel like checking up on the politics of the FGC and their reactions to SFXT. how is it doing? are a lot of people complaining about it and has it replaced SSF4 2012 AE yet?

It feels like smash bros tbh, it's nice don't get me wrong, but it really annoys me that the game feels that way. I may be going back to marvel and sf myself.

I have been practicing SF4 a lot in the last day, I'm getting back to where I was before SFxTK. I think your skill level shows a lot more when you play Bison as opposed to online Blanka. That shit is just retarded, it doesn't matter if I was still at top form or not lol.

I would love to get into KOF 13 and even Marvel 3, but their netcodes are just too awful and I don't have a lot of time to go to the arcades these days.

honestly the umvc3 netcode is definitely better than vanilla mvc3, i did get a tad spoiled by SFxTs rollback that i forgot how one bit of difference input delay netcode hurts you. lol Also my BBCSE arrives tomorrow from gamefly! can't wait to invest some time in that.

Problem with the netcode for umvc3... is that the input lag makes it impossible to block mix ups even if you see it and react to it properly, but the game still thinks you're blocking it wrong

Same goes for sf, you get mixed up pretty easily even if your reactions may be right. I guess online is meant for you to learn how to chicken block. XD

Thus the reason Blanka, Viper, and Seth are absolutely retarded online. Blocking Viper online you just literally have to guess, you can't wait and see like offline. Same for Blanka hop bullshit.

That actually sounds pretty awesome. Streaming the finals of BG tournament live @ EVO or in hotel. That's definitely a plan for EVO 2013.
