So much for a level playing field for the world...
So much for a level playing field for the world...
I am guessing the EVO team will make it v2012 for EVO....this just literally wouldn't be fair to anyone without an arcade that has Ultra in April.
It's going to have to be AE2012. Releasing the week of EVO is pretty damn retarded.
EDIT: Hell, none of the RTE events will have run it by the time EVO rolls around.
I'd rather they delete Bison's teleport altogether at this point.
I'd rather them just delete Bison. #IBUKI
They might as well have, lol.
Give him the Alpha series fireball #Kappa
Like Calli said about Sak changes, I'm hoping the Bison stuff is just weirdness from first location test. The teleport nerf is whatever, it's mostly there as a last ditch escape from oki when you're out of meter. The LK scissor being negative on block is just a big ball of wtf. Bison lives on his LK scissor pressure game, remove that and he's got almost nothing.
Yeah I've never seen Bisons even use teleport enough for it to be a big deal, he has meter fairly often. I really do think they're trying to make it so everyone just S.HKs each other to death, my issue being that in most matches where one character has vastly better ground normals, that matchup is going to be very one-sided. Oddly I think that soft knockdowns will be strong since it seems like delayed wakeup is only for hard knockdowns, I'm not sure about all characters but I know some that have safe jump setups regardless of if the person quick rises or not. I also think grapplers are going to maul, and not just out the gate like they normally do in new games.
The exchanges up close are going to be weird, it seems so far like you're supposed to get one single chance to hit when you're up close, if it blocks you finish in a special that is not punishable, but not positive, and then you get to play defense.
Dudley
Stand HP hitbox slightly expanded forward and downward (noice)
Stand HK has less pushback on counter-hit (thank you) Hated they took out counter st.rh > st.rh > ex gunner
Crouching LP hitbox slightly expanded forward
Crouching MK start-up now 7F
F+HK hitbox slightly expanded forward
All Target Combo damage increased by 10
Light Machine Gun Blow -1 on block
Normal Short Swing Blow throw invincible until the end of active frames (thank you)
EX Short Swing Blow throw invincible until the first hit (thank you)
Ryu
UC2 (Metsu Shoryuken) has 1F more invincibility Like it needed this anyways? (shit is gotlike online)
All i could want for oni is just a faster walk speed or better dash. Most annoying thing about oni is his forward throw.
(HERE LEMME JUST TOSS YOU FULL SCREEN SO I HAVE TO WORK TO GET BACK IN". At best you can do after a forward throw is meaty fireball bumfuck retarded
i want to learn gouken now for shits and giggles
Double Ultra seems like it'll be manageable if it stays how it is, atm it looks like two full stocks gets you 60% of the Ultra's damage, so it'll still be a healthy chunk for grapplers but something you can still walk off, especially if they use it earlier in the round.
From SRK according to vryu, Makoto changes:
Changes so far:
- Better jump MK crossup
- crHK 200 stun
- EX fukiage hits grounded opponent
- EX fukiage has same speed. So combo from crLK is 2 hits
- Only EX fukiage is jump cancelable
- EX fukiage is jump cancelable on block too
- (not 100% sure on translation) +4 recovery frame on every whiffed karakusa
- backthrow range: 0.90 => 0.85
- forward throw range: 0.90 => 0.95
- ultra1 damage 480 => 440
- ultra2 goes through fireball (gouken)
- stHP hayate cancel is +5 against crouching opponent (was nerfed to +4 in AE2012)
Makoto OP now. THOSE FEET
I've been wanting to pick up either Makoto or Oni. One of them I will play as an alt in Ultra!
Do Oni, I think he's going to be super good if you can FADC his SRK on block now, plus his normals/mixups are pretty stellar.
