You are spot on, good sir.
You are spot on, good sir.
PPV is awful, and I guess the joke will be on us if that revised bill passes, huh?
Capcom has already stated even if the bill passes they will support streaming for one. Two, it would never become PPV only; it would be quality controlled, unless its something HUGE like EVO. Third, you are only bitching because you're so cheap you think AE was expensive.
Yeah, I thought it was established that bill isn't gonna mean shit? Why is it still being brought up lol.
Huh, it was a "new" bill introduced two weeks ago.
And WHY would I degrade myself to play an inferior version of a game when I have the best?
At least I'm not a hypocrite QQing ALL the time about how my character got the nerfbat, just sayin'. Keep loling.
Lol i adjusted really well w/ new cammy, i dono wtf you're talking about. Lol
Really? That's cool, I'm super happy for you. I wish I had your memory.
actually got into it about sc2 vs sf with some friends today, BUT THEY JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND
how much better is the lag on the pc than it is on the xbox/ps3? are there people who lag switch more often or use macros? lol
I haven't ran into anyone I thought was cheating. Lag is either much, much better to the point it feels like the arcade, or its worse than Xbox because there are less people, thus you get paired against someone farther away than your region.
My issue is I got up to 4,000PP and I couldn't find anyone in my area with high enough points...I gave in and started playing random chars and lowered my PP lol.
If I actually stuck with the handful of characters i'm decent with, i'd have a gajillion PP >_> However I do ranked and switch characters around like a nut job, and still manage to reach 2800-3000PP.
I'll say taht for sure points don't matter. I've beaten the a lot of players ranked under top 10 on PC, multiple times... You find better players at lower PP/BP I find in general, cuz they don't play non stop. A lot of the top players are people who aren't bad, have 2 good gimmicks to abuse, and a LOT of time to play, so the points go up.
I watch Starcraft AND Fighting games. Enjoy them both for different reasons.
Hmm, the peeps I've stumbled upon that have 3kpp or more always put up a good fight. I've been stuck @ 3.4k for a while, and mostly get connections from Japan, Canada, and France ;x
Non ranked are littered w/ newbs and troll the shit out of them w/ Juri and Hakan <_<
Juri is good though >_> lol
Blanka's drive me nuts online >_> There are so many shenanigans they all try (no one has nice links or seems to play him well), that you kind of have to sit back and wait and wait to learn their stupid patterns, THEN you can beat them.
the problem with the PP system is it doesn't allow people to secure points at a higher level. Breaking 3k has become more challenging now because of the absurd amount of players that have under 1000Pp. If I lose to a troll using a 600pp account and beat 10 players with 800pp. I will still be at a loss of 110PP. System clearly works for people with very high win rates but it ends up splitting your community and discouraging people from playing ranked
Yeah it's retarded. They make PP hard to gain so only the top players play each other, but when you lose to a scrub doing random shit, your points take a nose dive.
