Agena (2.6), Deneb (3.2) and Thuban (3.0) the forth machine is Intel but it's old Core2Duo (2.33). Yeah Bruin will be there.

Can't you just bring a computer and run the PC version and stream off that? No capture card required. Unless you are concerned about mahvel. Then ignore this.

If someone has a good enough rig to run both at the same time, yes. I have an above-average machine and I can't run both without SF lagging.

Had another crack at the Sak player from last week, I did a bit better(relatively, went like 4-20). My execution still goes to shit fighting real people offline.

Arcade Odyssey is going to have it's big first tournament, the games so far include AE2012, UMvC3, and KoF XIII. The date is scheduled for saturday feb 4th, I am going to be posting up details as the days pass by on entry fees and pots for tournies, I encourage everyone to come for it's first but not last big tourney. Notable players showing up include Popololz, Flashmetroid, Flocker, and many other top south florida players. Lots of shit to enjoy while there too, and more or less massive amounts of fun!

Pick a character you like, and learn.

Probably yes. but if you like the character, just pick it and research. Once you get over execution barrier, other concepts such as footsies etc are fundamental. Play who you want.

Lol she's one of the hardest to learn. There's so much going on with that character that you might get overwhelmed at first, but learning her will certainly pay off in the long run.

Characters that are good for noobs are: Abel, Cody, Ryu, Ken, Balrog, Bison, or Fei Long.

If you want to play Juri though, don't let me stop you.

Hmmm. I think I like Ibuki more, I think I'll stick with her. Are there any characters that are considered cheap/OP? I don't like playing with OP people, personally.

Ibuki. Also like others said Juri is pretty difficult. Practice with whoever you want, but just know that some characters are harder to learn than others.

Edit: If you want sometime im sure any of us would be happy to add you to a room and watch/fight us. It really helped me. I went from being worse than a rock to being worse than a paper cup~

It wasn't even a matchup thing, it was just horseshit. Stuff like me knocking him out of the air with cr.hp, he would land and be able to command grab before the cr.hp would recover...him throwing out random condor dives that are punishable on block...but they'd barely not reach me so they'd just whiff and he'd get a free grab, etc.

Nonsense, I've played for 8 months now and I still suck lol. I was playing tonight on my own xbox, on my own monitor, and I couldn't do basic shit like canceling my normals into specials or nailing links that I sit and practice for hours a day.
