At this point I somewhat wish I would have just started with Ryu or Ken like a normal person, starting with a non-standard shoto unless you intend to play chargers/grapplers just seems counter-intuitive now.

Playing with non standard is fine though. Everyone knows what Ryu can do, and everyone has a gameplan against him. The average player probably isn't ready for Sak's cr.MK and mixups

Hilarious how Mago beat Fuudo 10-2 in a FT10 a month ago, and now he loses when it counts XD

1. @Roy - Ibuki / Juri / Viper are the hardest characters to learn/play. No character in the game is really too cheap (see below); you will watch some Ibuki/Viper matches and say it looked cheap, but thats only because the player is extremely good and has extreme execution. If 2 noobs play Ken vs. Ibuki, the Ken will win. If I had to say there was an unfair character, it would be Seth / Viper.

You should not play Juri or Ibuki to begin with IMO.

Hmmm. Ok, I think I'll play akuma or evil ryu at first, then switch to ibuki. Where's that website that talks about character's weakness, as well as combos. Back when I first got the game I remember using it and it was useful for all this info I'm asking you guys, but I don't remember where I found it at. Also, do you guys play SSFIV:AE, and would I need that to play with you gaiz?

I started playing Vanilla using Viper...lol, but at that time everybody was a noob really.

But thinking back, I think that's why I have no problems playing against someone else's Viper now.

Akuma is a fine first character, and he has everything in the game minus a command grab, so you can learn a lot with him.

Akuma has everything you need out the box. Fireballs, jumping, jumping fireballs, backwards jumping, backwards jumping fireballs. You can't go wrong!

Yeah, apparently it's $150 at gamestop if I put it towards a 360, and then dark souls is 40% trade-in bonus as well. Not sure how good of a deal that is for the PS3. The 360 would be $250 for refurbished 250gigs. Meh.

Also, I've already used all the good olivia munn pics as my sig, and looking around she hasn't done any really new photoshoots, so lameness occurred. Only want the title to be relevant for once lol or else I'd do like Rashida Jones or Olivia Wilde.
