Thanks guys. Yeah. For some reason I was forgetting about EX Bingo and the wakeup ultras are the main reason I swapped over to U1. I still have that newbie panic on knockdown if I have meter which I'm trying to hammer out of my system. I was 10x as worse with the throwing U2 out in a vain attempt to catch up in some kinda damage race. I'll probably be on again tonight after I get some chores done around the condo. You're pretty sick Welt I learned a lot last night.

I got a couple achievements last night also. Nothing special but the ones for 50 online matches and the replay watcher one since I was matching Tokido vs. Daigo which was really interesting.

A pretty good rule of thumb is that unless it's a clean punish(opponent misses a dp, etc), never, ever throw out a raw super/ultra. At the very least get a FA crumple and just throw it out after the dash.

It's cool. I know it's just a hobby. I'm trying to get as much practice in as possible in both Third Strike and SSF4: AE before I hit PZero in the beginning of March. My friend is a Tekken player but I know that there are some pretty fierce folks there. ^^'

Me and Welt had a pretty heavy session from last night, the first two are the best matches, the second one is probably the best match we've ever had between the two of us. I played out of my mind...and went like 0-20, lol. At least I made him work for it.

The best range for ryu against Rose is mid range, just a bit outside of her poke range, but close enough to throw fireballs fast enough so that its hard for her to react to them. Most ryus do it wrong tough and throw fireballs at her from full range which gives her pritty much free meter ¬.¬. And you want rose players to work for their meter, since escape options all depend on meter.

No he can't lol. It's not even about just reflecting, a Ryu who tries to zone Rose will find himself building her meter for her forcing him to go in.
