watched this tonite was pretty good, basically Manchurian candidate series.. good stars.

I decided to check this out simply because I'm a big fan of Damian Lewis thanks to his part in Band of Brothers.

I've really enjoyed the first two episodes, my only problem is with the story I don't see how it could go past a season without feeling drawn out, hoping they prove me wrong though.

Good show. Although I would have liked it more if Brody's allegiance is more vague, or at least if he had a clearer personal struggle between his new allegiance and his old life.

No idea if stating whats happened in the first 2 episodes is actually a spoiler, but all of what happened with him killing his partner really could have been a survival mechanism type thing...if he didn't do it, they'd just kill both of them and be done. He did what he had to to survive, and is lying now to protect himself. Converting to a different religion is hardly a crime. I don't care which way it goes, and I'm still leaning towards I think he's more likely bad and the chick is right, but I don't think it's a decided issue.

Just got around to watching last Sunday's episode. I can't pinpoint exactly why, but I enjoyed this episode more than I have any other so far, thought it was great. Also the preview for next week's episode looked pretty intense.

I was a little annoyed that Claire 'I drive super slow' Danes was so far back that she didn't see the terrorist almost pull into his driveway then freak out and weave across the road. The whole interrogation part next week looks awesome, though I am interested to see how they pair Claire and Brody up.

Showtime announced today that its new series Homeland has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes just four episodes into the show's freshman run, but was expected considering it has been well received by both critics and viewers.

“HOMELAND is just getting started,” said Showtime's President of Entertainment, David Nevins. “Clearly, the overall audience growth from week one to week four demonstrates that this show is hitting a nerve in the cultural zeitgeist. Alex and Howard have created a psychological thriller that holds special relevance in the post 9/11 world. I’m quite confident that its passionate audience will be riveted as the season unfolds and people discover where this story is going.”

The network has ordered 12 new episodes for Season 2 of Homeland. Production is set to being next spring, pointing to a likely late 2012 premiere.

I'm going to guess that the brody plot gets uncovered/etc, but the main bad guy is still out there and/or he gets caught but it's actually the saudi prince as the head honcho/etc.
