She's probably so invested/curious that she's willing to take a risk.
Edit: Or maybe it's a, "So, you think I was involved? Ok maybe it's time you know the truth..." kind of deal, assuming he isn't a terrorist and is trying to take them out

Show is really picking up. Looking at the pre Jews for next week it seems most will be revealed.

I get the feeling from it that she's involved, though... My bet is it might not be Brody, but someone else.

    Spoiler: show
Last 20min was really good, but I'm not sure I like where I think the show is headed now. The entire suspense factor is gone, what's left now, another shoot em up action show? Plenty of those on air. I feel like with a little closure (since they were all fucking fooled, an assassination actually happened and they were too late) woulda been a nice finale for a mini-series, with the aftermath being season 2...I'm really hope there's not 5 episodes of chasing this dude though.

I doubt we know everything yet, especially looking at the titles of the episodes the rest of the season.

I'm not sure what this means. I agree we don't know everything yet, but I feel like the entire show is essentially starting a 2nd season now with an entirely new objective and plot...except it's 7 episodes in with 5 to go...

I don't mind multiple story archs in one season. Too many times a show will have a build up towards the finale all season only to have the execution feel rushed and sometimes, a letdown. It will be interesting to find out what Tom says about Brody if/when he is caught.

Multiple story arcs that are simultaneous and such I don't have a problem with. I agree with what you stated as a problem I've seen in a lot of shows (including ones I liked), but we've had that buildup for 7.5 episodes this season already, and I even like where they went with the conclusion to that arc, but I'm just struggling to see 5 episodes of this new arc (that really has hardly been hinted at until now even) that is seemingly changing the entire show from mysterious/suspenseful to more action?

I thought it was perfect to find out it was his partner that was turned. Soon as it was revealed it made perfect sense, they brain wash him by telling him his own partner was trying to beat him to death blah blah blah. I thought that was a really good turn in the plot. I was not to thrilled about her sleeping with Brody and going out to the cabin and such. I mean if it was him, she just threw away her whole case just about, letting him know they are on to him, fucking him, and questioning him at gun point... I just thought all the cabin stuff was...... weird to say the least. I still think there is plenty that could happen in the last 5 episodes and keep the suspense the show has had without turning into a full out action flick.

    Spoiler: show
I kinda figured that was going to happen, though I thought the Tom Walker thing was just to throw off the CIA from Brody. I didn't expect him to not know about it.

I just spent the last two days watching this. Very good show, I quite enjoy it. The only problem is that it's a bit predictable, like I saw both the the Carrie and Brody thing and the Walker thing coming ages ago. Mandy Patinkin is amazing as always.

just started to watch Homeland this because because my parents insisted on how awesome it was. It is awesome and loving every minute of it. But their Direct TV has every previous episode but "The Weekend". Anybody have a link for this one? I think it's episode 7.

fuck the show is soo good, and now that I'm all caught up I gotta wait another week.

    Spoiler: show
I'm pretty confident that Brody will just go along w/ Abu Nazir (sp) plan's or w/e until the very end and then fuck them all over at the last minute. He can't just really fuck them over himself or w/o being in the perfect position since they just showed how easy they can mess him up and kill him if they wanted to. While I do wonder how this show can go on many many seasons w/o some serious new plot changes and w/o taking the show in a whole new direction, there is too much going on for it to be resolved in the last 3 episodes to any extent.

I mean, after all, Brody really is the showrunner good guy

I also liked Brody and Carrie's relationship.. and they made it pretty obvious they will become a real item sometime down the road w/some of the comments Carrie has said.

    about the son

    Spoiler: show
how likely is it that it's not really Nazir's son? also, if Nazir tipped off the Americans for them to drop in on the bunker to "rescue" Brody, he most definitely could have tipped them off to bomb the school/playground/whatever right?

    awesome, awesome episode

too bad it still looks like an assassination attempt instead of a manchurian candidate thing
