Cool, thanks for the new tests. Will add them to the OP.
DRG has really gotten better now that crit gear actually does something. Got to use DRG at Miser yesterday and had a blast. ^_^ We also used Paladin on Miser and it worked pretty well.

What stat should I be putting my attributes into for pug/mnk?
Thanks broski
Forgive me if this question has been answered, I did a quick search and couldn't find the answer.
Someone mentioned in-game that they removed the relationship between STR and Attack Power, so sure enough I threw up my Dragoon gear - noted my attack without any STR gear, then threw on my STR gear and noticed that Attack didn't even budge (according to the gear/attributes info).
I then tested this on BLM with MND & Mag.Acc and noticed that mag.acc *did* increase when I put on more MND gear.
So did I miss something in the update notes somewhere a patch or 2 ago?
ATK gains from STR don't show in the menu.
Skimmed through thread, don't have a lot of time here, and tried to search but couldn't find the answer...
Is there a stat cap at 50 where adding more str or int etc becomes counter productive? Can't find anything that states "anything above 320 stat wise is useless" or even a ballpark number.
Sorry if it's been covered already, but I can't find the answer anywhere.
I asked a similar question looking for the actual formula for the stat caps and got nothing.![]()
ballpark number is 330/300 for primary/secondary.
those were the values for archer with ifrit's bow. for other classes it was ~348str and 305-310 other stat.
Would the GC weapons vary much from those numbers?
I dunno. The theory has been "challenged" recently but I haven't seen any changes to data numbers. Kaeko could comment better on that than I could.
I usually aim for ~345 str and ~305 primary stat anyway. Not that difficult on most classes with a nice pair of 3-meld STR gloves.
Yes.
pretty new to the game, stat focus for drg?
STR/PIE
For any job, you're pretty safe to strip naked, take a look at your stats, and assume that your highest stat is your primary, and your 2nd highest is your secondary.
I just bought this game last friday, and I'm reading through this thread, trying to figure out how to allocate my points on Archer(/Bard?)
How I'm reading the posts it sounds like I should be dumping my points into PIE first of all, but after that it's confusing... or I'm just confused entirely.
Should I be putting my points in DEX, then PIE? Or should I be putting them into PIE then STR? My brain tells me to dump points into DEX and whatever is left over put into PIE but I am really confused by the posts I've read.
Hlep! ; ;
DEX & PIE.
