    Hmm, well, in that light, the last two lines are fine.

    But snoring is more like a buzzing than a ticking, and while "sings like a snake" is a pretty good kenning, I wouldn't really call the exhalation anything like a hiss.

    Zealot might be right. I know someone that snores like this and the descriptions in the riddle match perfectly. It's probably not the answer tho and if it is then what a shitty let down.
