Wow 6month recurring is 2$ cheaper than 1month recurring. If they keep the same price point, 12month recurring would be 4$ cheaper than 1month, making it 10.99 to play wow a month. Pretty fucking worth it if they do that. If they keep it at 14.99, or even the 12.99 like the 6 month recurring, its less worth it, but still really worth it. With an xpac due out, if you are playing wow you are probably going to be playing for at least another 6 months. Its a great deal.

I'd assume they wouldn't make it any cheaper than 12.99, and for a free game it would probably be locked in at 14.99, but if its 12.99 = 156/yr - Diablo 50$ = 106/yr = ~9$ a month. I'd still do it.

You can pay for the 1yr subscription using any of the current price plans. 14.99/mo 13.99/3mo 12.99/6mo. So the deal is pretty good if you do 2 6month payments. One payment is basically your copy of diablo, the 2nd payment is for wow.

The new wow expansion doesn't look to appealing but i guess it'll be fun for the new dungeons and raid that will come with it and everyone is hardcore raging about the panda bears. Starcraft 2 new units look pretty badass but i would really like to view the stats and read tooltips on their moves. D3 cinematic was awesome, super excited for this game. Blizzard dota looks pretty good, i'm not really into this genre though but i might give it a go with it being free and all.

Meh I'll be buying D3 separately, don't have any interest in WoW and I want to get whatever collector's edition they will be coming out with for D3 cause you know it's going to be badass after a 10 year wait.

It just occurred to me that the one good thing about this Wow expansion announcement is that it came at the beginning of the con. It wasn't their big end-of-con announcement.

Maybe they will reveal something really cool (like Titian).

just being nitpicky but furthering your point, diablo 3 is $60 not $50

My blizzcon prediction is going to be on the last night they will show a clip that will have all of two seconds worth (slight exaggeration, but you never know with blizz) of a titan teaser. And that'll be it.

(that's what they did with cata a few years back)

Blizzard fails SO FUCKING HARD at broadcasting the correct SC2 pro matches. While nobodies from Aus/China play, NESTEA WAS PLAYING NANIWA. Maybe 30 people got to watch over each other's heads. Guess which match got put on the big screen? Fucking stupid.

I'm a bit out of the loop, but don't they usually release two new races when they do this to have one for horde and alliance? Or are Pandas going to be free agents or something?

Neutral race. After the starting area, you choose an allegiance.

(Which means half as many art assets will be needed. Lazy!)

Panda (-50% Fall Damage) + Rogue's Safe Fall (-17 Falling Modifier) + Safe Fall Glyph (-10 Falling Modifier) = Infinite Falling!
