So did I miss much by skipping all of MK9/SFxT/SCV(goodtogosir)?

Only things I were glad I watched as the KOF finals (I'll buy a KOFXIV for sure if netcode isn't ass), and ST. Loved ST, but I think it's because I've been ignorant as to what it actually was (didn't realize there was 4 arcade iterations of SF2), and just seeing the speed of it in action, so it was a bit of a surprise.

Side note: Shame about Mike Z not being present to receive his award on stream.

sc5 was hype, good matches. sfxt boring, only infiltration|laugh made it look like a somewhat decent game. watch the GF and you've seen it all. ross|combo double perfected is worth a few lols too.

rough day ahead, not gonna accomplish anything at work today but i regret nothing. AE didn't live up to the hype of last year's top 8, but it was still a great showing nonetheless.

Yeah. I'm pretty zombie right now also. AE was a bit disappointing, but at least I can never bitch about Welt picking him ever again since every Akuma out there is scrubby as fuck compared to Infiltration. Dude downloaded some Super Turbo bullshit last night.

Doom's tweet totally made my morning. Laughed way harder than I should have in work but I really don't care.

In retrospect, I'm glad I went to bed after Marvel ;o Top 32 AE was so much more exciting than top 8 AE.

Went to bed after PR Rog was knocked out by Gamerbee. Not surprised at all to see Infiltration swept the grand finals.

The rest of the finals were over about 15 minutes after Rog was knocked out. AE finished in a blink compared to Mahvel.

This is the first time I've ever sat and watched the stream. The Marvel finals had me on the edge of my seat, was really intense to watch. Bought that game like six months ago on a whim for some friends and I to play and we never got around to it, I never even popped it in. Now I need to play lol.

Who won AE last night I went to bed before it ended.

5 more minutes and work's over, yay! turned out, my las vegas +9hrs time isn't that bad. was able to watch the AE top 8 this morning due to them beeing late and KoF (hype as fuck) during lunch. now marvel is waiting at home

If you mean for marvel, that was probably Zak Bennet (yeah, I know; UK plays marvel? wtf?) . That guy's got some of the slimiest Firebrand mixups I've ever seen, he's definitely going places in marvel if he keeps playing

I dunno though, I have no idea what EVO is going to do for next year. There are so many more games that are going to be around then. You've got TT2, DOA5 and VF5. We already saw a bit of VF5 and some Tekken, and while I doubt that DOA is going to be popular or "hype" enough to have a main stage tourney, you've gotta believe that there are going to be side tourneys or at least a kiosk around.

Well, someone did say that if FChamp won EVO his head wouldn't be able to fit in the room. Crybaby took it because of a few dropped combos and one, ONE, missed Hard Drive opportunity that would have sealed the tourney. He's hardly the godlike entity that he sees himself as since he was dropping things right alongside his opponent and was going blow for blow when they were on their games. IIRC, he lost two matches to Dark Sentinel when he still had his whole effing team.
