well whos "brain" is Zelena gonna try to get?

she got Charmings Courage (Lion), tried to get Reginas heart (Tin man), apearantly she will want a Brain (Scarecrow). I would say rumpel, but she kind of needs him to keep the others off bay it seems, so who is left? Hook? My guess is Belle (the whole library, reader thingy etc).

Well, I doubt its the explanation, but she may actually possess their memories ... but its unlikely to count as "Brain" as I assume she'd only need 1 persons memory. Regardless, the thought did cross my mind.

I think she'll be using her own brain. She probably wants some form of rebirth and it'll require Snow's baby, whom she will occupy and make perfect with her elements (courage, magic heart, her own brain).

I found the first season of this show somewhat interesting because the premise seemed to be what if fairy tales were real. Even though there was magic, things were still based in reality. Lately I've found this show hard to watch because the explanation for a lot of things is just "because it's magic."

It felt like even magic had its rules in the beginning. Now it feels more like something can/will happen for whatever reason, whenever, whyever because... "Magic."

To be honest, neither of those things really bothered me (although I would have been BLOWN AWAY if Charming or Snow turned into a flying monkey and bolted when everyone got their memories back). The question I have is how can Emma (and to an extent, Regina) use magic without paying a cost? Is it just because it's Light magic? Regina doesn't often seem to pay a price either (all those locator spells and fireball shenanigans). Zelena's abuse at least seems to be the cause of her green-ness. Rumple is the Dark One so the price he pays for his tomfoolery is being bound to the dagger (and arguably, he lost his son to gain that power in the first place).

Oh well.

Regina lost her first love. While she didnt choose magic over him, the decision was basicly forced upon her from cora and rumpel. She sacrificed her father to enact the curse. I hardly call that cheap magic wthout a price ¬.¬

I'd say more trivial magic doesn't exactly enact a price on the scale of the curse and such, either. Sometimes she's still mixing ingredients and such, but a little willpower and perhaps a touch of latent environmental effects seem to allow other things like hurling fireballs, manipulating vines, etc..

Plus there's a part of me that, while capable of enjoying this show as an adult, thinks it's perhaps aimed toward (female) teens and younger.

i like the show, doesnt matter for me for whom its actually written, if you enjoy it, you enjoy it period!

I am a bit confused tough, why was zelena hiding, when she was that bad ass and could handle anyone with that much power? i know she fears emma and emma can hurt her, but emma couldnt really control magic up till now, she could have face rolled here from the beginning ¬.¬

Might be easier to just assume Storybrooke isn't as magic rich as their home realm. So, while spellcasting and such is possible, it may not be as potent or possibly even exhausting if overdone. Then again, there wouldn't be much of a plot to be had if she just locked everyone in a cell and plucked what she needed from them at whim.
