So I didn't know what your avatar was from or know much about Once Upon a Time..checked out the start of the new season with the Frozen characters, and man; i let this show go by too long

Gonna start watching it from now on I think! Plus it gives me something to watch on Sunday besides football.

just be prepared that at times its cheesy, especially parts involving henry. I dont have a problem with cheesy, but the henry parts cringe me at times too.

First of all, I really love the development of the relationship between Emma and Hook. I think they're absolutely adorable.

And I'm sure Snow Queen has Anna, but she looks way too similar to Catherine from the earlier seasons and that distracted me.

I really like Elsa though, and the scenes with Anna and David sword fighting were fucking adorable. David with long hair is ... no. Just no.

Just started watching this series and haha didn't know that guy is cameron's father, though was her hubby. Why hook still wearing a costume? Didn't even recognize david, thought he was gonna do anna or something. So who's the short hair chubby girl with baby supposed to be? the new mayor?

I find it funny that most people still refer to Jennifer Morrison as Cameron, or at least know who you mean.
I found this episode to be pretty lame, but there is some very good potential with that new villain.

There is NEVER enough Rumple - nuff said.

But yeah I started watching Once Upon a Time shortly after I was out on leave for workmans comp and I remember fucking raging at Regina and fucking hating her so much. Now I just want to see something good happen to her..funny how that works.
Her character development has probably been the best on the show imo. I also like how at several points in the seasons you start to wonder..who really is good and evil here. I'm enjoying the current storyline as well.

I'm on the opposite boat in that there is TOO MUCH Rumple with his dirty paws in every single story line. The Pan arc just sealed it for me.

Regina on the other hand is my favorite character. She has been all over the spectrum in character development and I love how deep it makes her character. Hook is probably the only one that rivals in being a dynamic character, as opposed to the one dimensional Snow, David, most of the secondary characters (I'm looking at you in particular Belle, aka. Rinoa Heartlilly who gets into trouble all the time), and even Emma to a lesser extent.

That said, I still watch this lightly because criticizing it will only make it worse for me to watch, and Regina still makes the show for me.

And I'm also glad Gincarlo Esposito is back as Mirror/Sidney.

I'd have to agree with pretty much all of this. Most of the characters now react the same way to everything. The Elsa storyline is kind of interesting, I like the actress so far, that's about all I can stand so far this season. All the backstory stuff has gotten too confusing, at this point I just assume everyone knew everyone at one point or another.
