Excited on both counts.
Excited on both counts.
Yep, count me in
I'm all in too! Love this show.
I can't fucking wait I'm so ready!!
Good season opener. I love Merida already. I haven't seen Brave yet though, so I don't know how much it has diverged/will diverge from that movie. The struggle between Emma's dark/light sides in the scene with
Spoiler: show
was SOOOOO GOOOOOD like damn, Jennifer Morrison did an amazing job in that scene. And then there was that ending scene. I did not see that shit coming and now I need to know what happened leading up to that. As usual, can't wait until next Sunday!
Also, anyone catch the special beforehand? Only caught the last 30 minutes of it, but I had no idea Robert Carlye's accent on the show was not his real one. Mind fucking blown.
Superior accent
Overall was good, but I did feel like saying "Again?" at the last scene.
Agreed. It's the only way they can keep the structure of the show similar to all the previous seasons. AFAIK, there was only 1 or 2 flashbacks this entire episode and I was ok with it. I expect the 50/50 flashback:current event ratio to reappear since those damn Lost creators can only produce shows with flashbacks/flash-forwards/flash-sideways/flash-wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey ways. /sarcasm
Episode was p. good though.
I liked the episode, except for the whole amnesia thing again. Conflicted Emma was really nice to see, but Dark Emma just didn't quite click, from an acting perspective. I hope she's able to grow into the role.
i think she is doing fine for now. and dont forget she did excellent on the trailer we have seen from Dark Emma on the promo at comic con.
I agree the whole amnesia thing is "again", but i am hooked up so i do not care lol
My bet, they get rid of the darkness in the first half season from Emma, only to see that it revived morgane le fay, merlins worst nightmare!
EDIT: only to find out that Morgan le Faye has is family related to Regina/Emma wtf ever bbq sauce (almost forgot to mention this)
I liked this episode.....until the ending.Did we really need to skip through a bunch of time just to have it all explained in flashbacks again instead of just progressing normally?
I also have to say that with a 6 week time skip, it will be convenient to have the Apprentice recovered enough to actually do something besides writhe in bed and possibly Ruby back in town. Doubt Gold is back unless being in a purity cocoon hastens his recovery.
Wasn't exactly loving the conflicted Regina so I hope that ended during the last scene and she will be all about believing in herself from now on![]()
I haven't really thought of either of them, though I did notice that Merida was missing this episode. But there was so much in this episode I really didn't miss them. This episode was packed with stuff, so I hope they can keep this level throughout the season.
That Yazoo song won't get out of my head.
I mean, I like 80s stuff, so it's not too bad, but c'man already.
so after a few episodes i dont think she is doing quiet a good job on playing the new Dark-one. Still missing morgan le fay but at least we got a hint at the Lady of the Lake
the whole rumpel and merida part was tough totally cheese and not well done imho
I'm annoyed that Rumple is considered "redeemed" after one episode when Regina has been working the whole series to be redeemed, so has Hook. Well, not the whole series since he came in season 2, but still. One heroic deed doesn't make you a hero imo. Just ... no.
I like Jennifer's interpretation of the Dark One. Assuming it manifests differently for everyone who takes on the darkness, I like the way she's going with it. Her voice kind of wigs me out a bit, but that's really the only thing I'm not liking so far.
Next episode looks amazing, can't wait.
