Looking for iPad (1) TV Output Device (HDMI pref)

I searched but can't see anyone asking, so here it is.

I'm looking for an ipad 1 TV output for my parents who downloaded a collosal amount of videos, but not via itunes or anything but some other random 3rd party chinese app.

But it seems that a lot of people are saying this cable only outputs to TV on a limited pool of apps.

Not willing to risk it with this, so, does anyone know of a company that sells a literal WYSIWYG cable for the ipad that will output to TV regardless of what?

All apps will auto mirror

But if some apps will not mirror fullscreen

On my old iPad 2 i had a player named BuzzPlayerHD When i mirroed my iPad the movie wasn't fullscreen on the TV while when i played Real Racing2 HD it mirroed fullscreen

I guess the only way to find out is to buy one, test it, if it don't work, refund it...

Shouldn't be too bad then, my parents work in the same department store as where they sell the cable, but just not in the "tech" area.
