so like, I started playing Demon Souls yesterday...

Then found out they are shutting down the servers soon...or maybe not (lots of places say october, but I found an article saying it was extended till 2012 at least).

Can't find anywhere on what happens when the servers get shutdown. Is it just you can't co-op with players/no more messages/death bloods?

Or is there something major connected to the servers (ie saved game) that will make it unplayable?


I need to know this 'cause...I'm a girl...playing Demon Souls...this is going to take fucking forever for me to beat, and if it is going to become unplayable by the end of the month I might as well just throw in the towel and start on Dark Souls instead.

The only thing servers going away will break is one piece of gear will become unobtainable. (A turban thingy, it does give a big boost for a certain kind of build, but it's not a MUST have)

ya that was the one article I found, wasn't sure if it was true since it was the only place I noticed saying it (though I didn't look too hard).


Between school/work/ and me just overall sucking at this game, it'll probably take me till 2012 to beat. XD
