I suppose a better question is would the CEO of this company noming on some other brand of soup sue for finding this bullshit in his soup?
We found random plastic in our (canned) campbell's soup before so we mailed it with a letter to the company and they sent a letter back apologizing and gave us some coupons. Really all that needs to be done but wire is way weirder/more random than plastic to find in soup... kind of freaky, but ultimately not damaging unless you start coming down with some weird disease![]()
FTFYsome wired disease
This post is almost as dumb as someone posting about what should I do about this boy/girl i like. I appreciate you posting pictures though because a girl/boy poster would have had no pictures. Learn to eat and if you want to be nice send in a letter informing them of the issue. Ask for a refund and you might get a year supply of the crappy noodles you've been eating.
Only way you can recover damages without actually being injured is if it was intentionally put in there. Good luck proving that.
Yeah, just call em up and let em know and get some free soups!
Something similar happened to me at a chinese restaurant. I bit into a lobster roll and there was 1/2 of a metal washer (like for a bolt) in the thing, nearly broke my damn tooth. But no harm done, I told them about it, went about my day.
I once was making some pancakes with some generic brand, they screwed something up though because I swear to god it tasted like Banana's were in the mix. Pancackes still turned out tasty. But I called them up just see what's up, they said there were no banana's in anything they worked with, I'm like weird yo, whatever, ttyl. The following week I got a box in the mail with like 4 "complimentary" boxes of pancake mix. They didn't taste like banana's.
These guys are right; "no harm, no foul".
So:
1. Swallow wire
2. Go to ER and complain of severe stomach pain
3. Say you were eating soup when x-ray results show the wire in you
4. Sue
5. Profit
6. There should be a ??? in here somewhere...
I only read the OP. If you're not hurt, you don't have a personal injury case. Just contact that ShoreLunch company with your pics and give them a heads up. Your best bet is that they will do something for you to remedy that weird ass shit that you found in their product, and be glad you didn't fuck them up with a lawsuit.
Le'sigh.
