4 was poorly optimized but still the best way to play. not expecting anything more from gta v. just excited i finally get to play it

Most of 4's problems came from low quality assets that didn't look good on PCs and Games for Windows Live. Perfectly playable otherwise.

P.S. the steam page for GTAV is up, but no preorder yet.

PS4 version will have exclusive content

GTA 5 on PS4 will include some sort of bonus offering above and beyond what PC and Xbox One purchasers receive.

Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One was announced at Sony’s E3 2014 conference, so it’s no surprise Sony and Rockstar have come to some sort of arrangement.

What the deal actually entails is still up in the air; speaking to Kotaku, SCEA marketing boss John Koller refused to give details when asked if there would be special content for PS4 owners.

“I don’t think we announced anything publicly on that, but there will be,” he confirmed.

“GTA 5 is going to be, I think, a title we’ll talk about more in the weeks and months to come, but GTA 5 and the GTA franchise is something that will be something very special on PlayStation.”

In fact, GTA 5 has already been pretty special for PlayStation.

“GTA 5 is a title that did extremely well on the PlayStation 3. In fact, the index rate — the index rate is the amount of people who purchase one platform or the other relative to the install base — it swung well in PlayStation’s favour for GTA 5, a lot of it because of the partnership we had with Rockstar,” Koller said.

“We would expect that to happen here, too. GTA is a PlayStation franchise. It started with us. We really feel strongly that it belongs as a key platform driver for us.”

The horse videos are some of the funniest things I've ever seen come out of mods and really any game video outside of birgirpal and surgeon simulator.

The Lawsuit is now Official

Lindsay Lohan is suing the makers of the "Grand Theft Auto" video games. The actress says the latest installment used her image and created a character based on her without her permission.

Lohan's lawsuit was filed Wednesday in a Manhattan court. "Grand Theft Auto V" game maker Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and subsidiary Rockstar Games declined to comment.

"Grand Theft Auto V" was released in September. Sales topped $800 million on its first day.

Lohan's suit says a character named Lacey Jonas is an "unequivocal" reference to the "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" star.

The suit says Lohan's image, voice and styles from her clothing line are depicted. It says the game features West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont hotel, where Lohan once lived.

The character also seeks help skirting paparazzi.

Anyone been playing the recent 'Murica update? Not sure if its something they just added, but I can now ride motorcycles in first person view, and it makes the city look amazing.
