* The FINAL FANTASY XI client will be automatically updated. After the date and times listed above, pressing the "Play" button and following the on-screen instructions will begin the update.

* The World Transfer Service will be unavailable starting 30 minutes before the maintenance. Please wait until after the maintenance is completed before attempting to use this service.

* The Character Reactivation Service will also be unavailable starting 30 minutes before the maintenance.

* Maintenance operations will delete any reservations for Pankration matches and Maze Tabulae registered to NPC Duplidoc for Moblin Maze Mongers. To those players who are scheduled to participate in Pankration matches, those who will enter Assault, Salvage or Einherjar areas, or those who will participate in Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance, we ask that you please wait until maintenance is complete before engaging in these activities. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

I don't really know if this is what caused it but I was in an alliance cleaving at surveyors in abys-altepa 2 nights ago and like 13/18 of our alliance kept getting d/ced due to a POL error or something like that (POL has stopped working).

I didn't know there was maintenance today, haven't played the game in about a month. Anyway, it said I have no Content ID when I just tried to log in. Any idea what that's about?

It is now possible for players to fulfill victory conditions even if they find themselves disconnected when the enemy is defeated. This can be accomplished by examining the accompanying riftworn pyxis upon reconnecting.

Weren't you always capable of doing that?

The issue in which the Abyssea - Grauberg NM Amphitrite would unintentionally switch from absorbing physical damage to absorbing magic damage.

I knew there was something wonky about that NM...

The issue in which incorrect item names were displayed during conversations with certain Voidwatch NPCs.

Yay for double Exhortation atmacites being fixed finally......after people pointed it out day-1 on the test server back when Ch2 VW was loaded up on it.

Nope -- if you were disconnected at the time the mob was killed, you did not get credit towards abyssite upgrade for the kill. You still got loot, but if you went to upgrade your abyssite assuming you had kill credit, you wouldn't be able to get the upgrade. Have had this happen to members of my LS numerous times in the past, so we've started checking to make sure no one was DC'ed at the end of fights when they needed upgrade more recently.

Doesn't he have a TP move that makes him absorb magic and another physical or wasn't it planned that way?
