What is "backwater" about bazaaring where the majority of people are?

What's so good about having a bazaar if your character never loads on anyones screen?

And whitegate lag is strange, its like every time I run towards the middle area my character position stops updating, if I run from MH to staging point by avoiding the middle fountain area, no problems.

Whitegate lags on the test server too, even if you're the only person in zone. There's just too many NPCs or something else wrong with the zone.

I fucking hate Whitegate lag. Any time I go to get sanction, I always have to stop to let Atum's location update on Septimus's screen at the door from the southern port, at the south-east corner, at the top of the north-east stairs, then at the bottom of the stairs. I try to avoid doing things in ToAU zones because that part annoys me so much.

They did try to put in a countermeasure by adding Abyssea NPCs to the home nations, but the lure of AFKing in Port Jeuno to show off awesome gear is just too strong I suppose.

Its not that...partially due to player lazyness (whos gonna relocate HP willingly just to alleviate server congestion?) and partially cuz, as I said in another thread, everything you do in abyssea requires going to ru'lude to finalize upgrades. Whats the point of changing HP if you're going to have to go back to jeuno every time.

I HP in Bastok because I can't stand the lag and loud stupidity in Jeuno. I would love to be able to instantly turn in magian trials right away, but it's not like I am completing entire objectives several times a day. I hang on to my magian weapons, armor, and kindreds until I have enough to justify swimming through the sewer that is Jeuno.

Hell, you wouldn't even have to make it accessible from all over (although why not), just put an extra door right outside port jeuno mog house. Hell, you could even just put it as an extra option on the RG mog house door that's already there.

2. Remove Chocobo Circuit bazaar tax.
3. Everyone bazaars in Chocobo Circuit. It's accessible from ALL major cities. It's the PERFECT bazaar zone.

Synergy doesn't give you a portable magian moogle or take you to the maw but yeah, the earrings help a lot. I like the idea of the choco circuit as a bazaar zone.

The reason I suggested a whole new zone connected to the Chocobo Circuit was because in my mind I can hear one of the Confederacy of Dunces from the official forums screaming "They can't do that because it will crowd people out who want to do Chocobo races!" Yes, it is the dumbest reason on the planet, but I can guarantee that someone would say it in the hopes of torpedoing any new idea.

I say the slope next to the maw for Abyssea - Tahrongi. Every city has an npc that warps you right to it, plenty of open space, and no aggro. Plus you can use the Fields of Valor tome to return to your home nation, if you don't want to warp cudgel.

Make a ra/ex furniture obtained via new quest -
Jeuno Radio
Moghancement : listen to shouts and yells in Jeuno (all zones)

Once this moghancement enable-
Menu - chat filter add - radio on/ off

Or
More hi-tech end -

Half the bazaars in PJ don't even load for me on my alt's computer. I really like rolanberry on Siren for a few reasons:

1) Everyone selling currency sold under the tree. Nobody sold under the tree if they were selling something other than currency.
2) The "High Rent" mules were in the same place for years. Aaldente didn't move once in 2008 and he always had sky trigs, cashmere, ABC's, and even Choco breeding slips.
3) Nobody afk'd in rolanberry other than bazaar mules. That means everyone loaded in short order.
4) No having to start over tabbing because someone you couldn't see ran between the two people you were targeting. PJ is a nightmare for this, especially around the guidestone.
5) Better music


Having said that I doubt it'll ever go back there. Even with a PJ tax people will just crowd around the guidestone in lower or upper.

Also, I don't think currency on AH is a good idea. AH bots would frustrate players to no end. However, if they could just make devious die and silver mirrors AHable that would cut the number of bazaars people have to search through in half.

jeuno recall puts you within 20 seconds walk of magian moogles and abyssea npc's

port windy hp puts you 2 seconds from anywhere non-toau, and 30 seconds from toau

Clearly the only solution to this is making everything that is currently not placeable on the AH, opening up and sticking it on there, that means ancient currency, tatters, all that crap.

personally I would love for some form of auction house for AC and Tatters, would make hunting the shit down a tad bit easier and would be easier to see the total supply of the server rather running around aimlessly spam checking and camping ff11info 24/7
