Best sword for PLD before Almace/WoE+2/Excalibur/Burtgang? Finishing Ochain within the next few days, and figured I should be somewhat offensively useful until Almace finishes. The newer VW sword seems relatively good, but I'd wager I'll have Almace before that falls into my inventory.

Probably all of them, and probably 30%. Neither has been rigorously shown.

One of the Magian with Physical damage is the only sword i can think of. I'd just wait to use Ochain until you finish with Almace.

Currently farming for a relic and still unsure of which weapon to go after. My jobs are Cor/Whm/Smn/Bst/War. Weapons I'm thinking of are Ragnarok, Bravura or Yoichinoyumi. My question is how good are the 2 relics for war compared to Yoichinoyumi?

Does that mean I'm fucked now? (I don't wanna mess with crysta or Click&Buy.)

I got in yesterday just fine too.

What happened to adding new payment options? I can only see options for Click&Scam and Crysta(with only the bloody set amounts still!)

I loved my Bravura even after getting Ukonvasara. Used it a lot for lowman situations outside (Tiamat comes to mind), where I knew I was gonna end up tanking and tbh the damage on Metatron on Brav90 wasn´t too shabby either. Can´t speak for 95 Versions since I quit when patch hit. If I had the choice again, I´d definately do Bravura again.

Player magical critical hit rate is still a base of 0% right? That is, you cannot land a critical hit with a magic spell unless you are wearing gear that increases that chance?

Can you still stagger monsters in Walk of Echoes?

I've yet to see a mcrit without gear, so I'd say yes.

It's not uncommon to be able to log in for a day or two at the start of the month even if you don't have a valid payment method.
There were a lot of answers to questions like this a few months ago, which you should be able to search for. You can use paypal (listed under a strange name), ultimategamingcards, etc. so you don't need to use Click & Buy.

Kokushitsunotachi +3 assuming Taint's previously posted set, and a 40:30:20:10 spread (I don't even remember where I heard this hit distribution, so... it may not even be accurate):

This is based on 464 delay which is the base of a Kokushitsunotachi. I don't recall if the final +3 trial added -delay or not; it's not updated on either wiki and I'm not near the Magian Moogle in game to check at the moment.

SAM/WAR 15% Hasso Zanshin Sword Strap Five Hit 450 delay * (1 - .5215) = 216 delay
For Five Hits / 4 After WS
1 Round 09%
2 Rounds 58.9924%
3 Rounds 29.1423384%
4 Rounds 02.8652616%

In a race to 100 WSs, it'll take 829 seconds of TP + 200 seconds for WS action delay. 1029 total.

So a fair bit slower than either configuration of Quint Spear. The upside of this weapon is that it's a GK so you end up with something like 40 accuracy. And about twice the base damage for TP phase.

The higher the level of impurities the higher the chance of an explosion. The higher the pressure level during an explosion, the more damage it is going to do to you and the furnace's life bar.

At least this is what I have gathered from my tinkerings with synergy.

So has it been officially determined yet if your critical hit rate scales from 100-199% and 200-299% TP during Blade: Hi and other critical hit weapon skills? I know in the past it was proposed that your critical hit rate anchors at 15/20/25% for 100/200/300% TP, respectively, but then also it has been said that your critical hit rate scales (with TP bonuses and stuff). Has there been any official conclusion, or is it just too hard to test? I would imagine it would be really tedious, seeing that it would probably take 20% TP just to raise the critical hit rate 1% if the scaling were true.

Grotesque Cesti is probably your best bet, if not then probably Taurine.

Fastest way to skill up automaton magic? Throwing my pet at Marids at the moment.

I believe the trick that seems to work well is go to Beaduex and go to the muter. Engage a mob from far away, ie, pugil, and your pup will keep spamming silena trying to take it off you.
