So, barrage crits...
1.) According to this post, each crit hit or Barrage is calculated independently. It also says its been tested, but I can't find any information on it. Generally, I'd find Atoreis a reputable source but no information was given and its not listed on BGwiki. Does anyone have any testing to share?
2.) Has it been confirmed that Dead Aim effects Barrage?
3.) Ignoring whether Dead Aim effects Barrage or not, do Barrage crits otherwise behave the same as normal ranged attack crits? As in, do they have identical base crit hit rates and damages?
edit: Decided to ask this here instead of "What's Better" first while I'm on the subject.
4.) What augment is best paired with Barrage +1 on Desultor Tassets: Critical hit damage +3% or Ranged Attack +7?
So do we have an established hierarchy of the new weapon skills at level 5 yet? As far as which ones are worth a shit to level 5 etc.
To name a few, the dagger one is good outside of Abyssea. Katana is good outside of Abyssea if you don't have Kannagi, and even then it's very competitive with Blade: Hi. Last Stand is the best physical marksmanship WS, though it still loses to Wildfire when MDB/MDT-/resistance isn't a problem. I also believe the great axe one is a very good Ukko alternative, and is a must have for Bravura WARs. Not sure how the great sword one compares to Torcleaver overall, but at the very least its the best WS for for a great sword DRK to use when Souleater is up.
Also I saw it was mentioned on the last page, but what is the best GK option (non emp relic etc) for shoha now? Is it the TP bonus one?
There are Bat NPCs that appear in the zones, if you have a specific third party tool there is the possibility of getting the drops from the goblin if you kill them. With that said, don't do it. This will be the next Salvage ban, do yourself a favor, and don't even think about it. I waned people before, I will warn people again, don't do it.
ApRadar v2 doesn't appear to be working in Abyssea. Is there a way to make it work?
Still getting back into the game after a break, looking to work on a GKT from the trials, looking at the Keitonatchi +3 - Is the DMG+6 STP+12 the way to go with a 5-hit or is it easy to 5-hit all the others (without losing too much haste/acc outside abyssea) now? Still catching up on all the 75+ gear, so not sure if there's any insane new stp gear.
5-hitting a TP bonus Keito is easy, it's infinitely superior to Store TP.

What would be considered an ideal gear set for Blade:Shun? It seems like dex and attack are the way to go due to it's attack penalty at100%. Any help/opinions would be greatly appreciated. (Sorry in advance if this is the wrong place for this question).

Some potential changes depending on buffs/target (swapping attack slots to DEX vs low level mobs when attack is high) but overall it should be about right. Attack/TP Bonus Moonshade Earring might beat Centaurus depending on TP scaling.
When SE changed skillup caps by mob levels (ability to cap a 95 weapon off a 90 or whatever mob), did anyone figure out how many levels lower than yours you can go before the mob stops giving skillups, presuming to cap?
simpler version: if I want to cap a 99 weapon, whats the lowest lvl mob that will get me to cap?
Anyone hammered out a solid start to farming Dynamis Bastok? Some of the TEs are giant bitches to deal with as a solo dancer, particularly I cant seem to get it without aggroing the dark knight and black mage that wander right next to him.
