Trying to register onto SE's lame transfer. I dont have original POL Codes, been playing friends account for 5 years. How do I fix this?

Maybe it's asking for another code and you assume it's that? Been a little while since I transferred so not sure what screen you are on and what it says

Did you make any changes in the past month? Transfer? Add a mule? Delete a mule? restarted your account?

If you have any pending charges through POL it wont let you transfer till they are taken care of.

I want to get mission A Shantotto Ascension done. I still need to level Alchemy to 10 to craft the item for this part?

I think the fastest way to do it would with the least number of ingredients probably be Tsurara to 6 (Ice Crystal: Distilled Water x2, Rock Salt), Cornstarch to 9 (Lightning Crystal: Millioncorn x2), then Coffee Beans to 11 (Wind Crystal: Coffee Cherries). NPC the results, although you could possibly bundle the Tsurara and AH over time it to recuperate some gil from it.

Make sure to get advanced support when you are starting with the Tsurara. Go with NQ support when you are doing the actual synth. You can instead get a Trainee Sword from doing the quest Fully Mental Alchemist so you can do the Alchemy elsewhere, like synthing the coffee beans in Whitegate at the vendor. (Apparently it's latent effect does not stack with support.)

Since it is only level 10, you should be able to fly through the levels, but you could always get a few Coffee Macarons (or Kitron Macarons if you want to be very fancy) to help speed up the process. It is mainly anecdotal evidence (well, besides the book that states that they boost skill-up rate), but I like to use them when I try to skill up.

Why does everyone say the ASA enfeebling kit is lv10? Both of my mules are alch 0 and synthed it first try without imagery...in fact the one char that did fail the synth was my main with alch 60 -.-

is the +double attack magian dagger any good?

I remember reading that it's not as good as other DA offhands (like axe) because the double/triple attack you can get on DNC and THF.

What's a suggested DRK merit setup? I was thinking that Last Resort Recast x5 and Desperate Blows x5 would be where to start, but I'm new to melee and a bit lost from there.

Not percisely but trial staffs have always outnuked blm mythic in most situations. Hell at 75 elemental staffs did. Plus iirc laevateinn didn't get anymore mab at 95 anyways... so right now the +3 staffs should win any time you have 43 or more mab. Seeing as we get 40 from just traits before merits... now if elemental seal was active you'd need over 100 mab base for +3 staff to win. Which is a tad harder outside of abyssea to do but with good gearing definitely possible. And of course if you can keep a good aftermath up from mythic it will win then. But blm mythic still is and will likely always will be crap for nuking.

Group 1 is kinda worthless so 5/5 convert and whatever macc tickles your fancy. Group 2 Whatever is needed for VW if you want I suppose. I actually kinda like blind 2 for it's effect. Helps tanks that aren't quite capping. para/slow is always good. Though really rarely makes a big difference in the grand scheme of things compared to Tier 1 debuff. I guess with all the ws spamming and high def stuff in VW dia III be good again.

I had 5/5 Convert and 5/5 Ice acc; then 5/5 Slow2 and 5/5 Paralyze 2. I started waffling because I like landing slow2 (slowed mob + hasted blink tank= better fight); right now I'm leaning towards changing to 5/5 earth acc and 5/5 ice acc to go along with the 5/5 slow2 and 5/5 paralyze2.

You need to log into your SE Account Management page. You will have a red box that tells you that you need to do a transfer.

FIRST, go to the left column and add crysta. Don't add a payment option unless you're going to do click n' buy, but I wouldn't because so many people have had issues. Just add the crysta. Once you see the amount of Crysta you need at the top of your account (It's a base crysta price of 1495 and 100 per character, even main character), then click on the red box and follow the steps. You don't need reg codes or anything like that. You will need a monthly reminder to add more crysta, though...

You're joking about Phalanx2, right?

You're joking about thinking your enfeebles make any major difference to a fight right? I'd rather have a single target phalanx for RDMs only purpose besides an extra filler slot for VW procs(Phalanxing cleaves, and whatever else), than minorly enhanced enfeebles.
