I got a new computer for Chirstmas and my cd key for FFXI is long lost. Can I just copy FFXI files on my old computer to a external hard drive and on to my new computer and it will work just fine?

FFXI doesn't have a CD key. It has a registration code to enter into a Playonline account. You can install the game without entering anything, just make sure you have the info to log in with.

Easiest thing is likely installing the basic game from the disc (don't worry about expansions, etc). That's just to put registry entries in and all. Download and install the Vista/7 version of Playonline, and copy your old FFXI folder over top of the fresh game install (technically, you could register the program/dlls other ways, but just installing is simpler). The game will need to do a file check, but will otherwise be good to go, and have all your macros n' such.

Just got a Hasty Pinion, thinking it would net me a good chunk on gil on the AH, and apparently there's 0 sales for it and 4 in stock in Ragnarok... Bad piece, or it has its uses? I'd hate to npc it ;_;

It will need to write stuff to registry. What CD keys are you talking about though? You don't have to enter any codes or anything when you install from the discs. I would still copy over the FFXI folder to your extrernal though and after installing/updating POL, overwrite the clean FFXI folder with the updated one. Will save you a good few hours of updates.

AF3+2 feet are still best for WF. Hands are going to be largely useless because I really can't see how often you would be needing to remove two rolls.

Hands still good TP hands no? Especially if you don't like pre/midshot blinking for snapshot.

But they're basically Alruna's -1. Or if the Snapshot is higher than Alruna's, then Alruna's+1. Which reminds me, I should really try and augment Snapshot onto my BFG...

Pretty sure it's site-wide. There's a couple of threads in the Bugs section of their forums. I'm guessing something broke and the devs are all on holiday.

Since it seems the OAT GS works well with Resolution spamming. Does the same apply for the OAT gkt? I left mine at 85 long ago and never bothered to upgrade once I got Masamune. Now as a Yoichi owner as well, does the OAT gkt work as a viable TP weapon for spamming Shoha, and Namas? or is Quint Spear still far superior?

100k on baha, the - store TP makes it look not pretty, so ppl dont pay alot.
