This might sound like a stupid question, so forgive me.

I was talking to a friend about crit hit rate gear, specifically rancor collar. He claims that the collar does indeed grant the ability to proc a crit on NON-crit ws, but all the documentation on critical hits state otherwise. His justification is that since Champion's Drink in VW causes his ws dmg to spike higher than normal, then rancor collar could have a similar effect.

Anyone know how to get Snowman Cap yet? It's probably from the event, but there's no info at all on the guides on how to get it.

Wanted to grab it before its gone since it's actually not a bad ice resist piece, lol. May never use it, but I don't wanna wait 'til next year just in case @_@

Latest version of Kparser doesn't require a memloc. Download the latest one from Mote's sig and you should be all set.

Easiest salvage zone+route for alex?

SSR, Hammerblow (east side) -> Powderkeg (South east) -> GG3 (west) -> Turtle (west) if you have time (and clear all the gears) -> Boss

When I duo with myself, I go:
Hammerblow -> Powderkeg -> Clear all the gears in every reachable room on floor 3 + GG3 -> Go up on the west side and clear all the machinery -> Boss
It gets me about 60 Alex per run and a shot at Linen.

Heh. That's really not quite as terrible as I imagined. Working out some kind of deal with a friend or two, one could comfortably finish a Mythic in a year or so if all alexandrite was going to one person.

Since it seems the OAT GS works well with Resolution spamming. Does the same apply for the OAT gkt? I left mine at 85 long ago and never bothered to upgrade once I got Masamune. Now as a Yoichi owner as well, does the OAT gkt work as a viable TP weapon for spamming Shoha, and Namas? or is Quint Spear still far superior?

Resolution doesn't have the incredible ftp change from 100>200 that Shoha does. OaT would be a good gkat for it, but tpbonus is a great one.

I suspect that it is going to be from the New Year event, since there doesn't seem to be any other "festive" items that lack information.

Once I finish with my Yacumamas I'll have to take on Feuerunke for my dagger trials. Is he easy to solo as DNC? My gear is good, have EVA kila and all AF3+2 except hands something like ~+80 eva.

wikia says he has crazy high dmg resistance, is this going to be a problem?

He has it during normal phase but loses it when he goes into hundred fists. What we always did was just use A. Edge at first to do some decent damage then once you get him to use 2hr, can pretty easily stun it as you have it and ws him down quickly.

I wrote this at 90, but it essentially doesn't matter. I do my path DNC/THF dualboxing a RDM/WHM. Any job with an ounce of evasion makes the zone a joke.

I duo them all MNK+WHM, personally. We just finished most my friend and I's sets so we're farming alex now for her Yagrush.

I go BLU RDM THF and clear with 30 minutes left over. Can gather up all mobs, position yourself in the corner of a pole thing and just aoe them all down, making sure the THF Aeolian edges to hit them all with TH. On boss just make sure you get bio2/poison2 on and just let it charm you.

Same as any other DD. Save TP + Regain.

Is that better than doing Dekka? If you do Dekka then you can do GG1 and GG3 which is an extra purse.
