You can OP as a Rank 1 and you will have access to all the same OPs when you switch back to Windy, but you will have no Supplies Missions (OP Access) completed when you swap to other nations. It used to be that you would reset all your OPs whenever you changed nations, but now you get them back if you switch back to the same nation.

What's the best way to find out a VW NM's stats?

* SV Minuets, food, Berserk, Warcry, Chaos Roll, etc. (max attack) Crit Ranged attack with different Ammos would tell you your (weapon damage+fSTR) and capped ranged pDIF, and thus approximate monster VIT and level.
* Ranged Crit at known non-capped attack values would tell you approximate Defense.
* Unresisted nuking with a few different spells and known INT would tell you MDB, -MDT%, and monster INT (assuming no variable damage resistances). You can cycle through a few elements to see if there is any elemental attenuation.
* I can't think of a really good way to determine AGI beyond stacking a shitton of DEX and checking whether you have a 25% or <15% crit rate. Here is perhaps a related link. Twashtar/Coruscanti Dancer TPs in a lot of DEX. It sounds like whatever he was wearing had him at capped Crit rate. I would bet the tonic is 30%.
* You can measure MND using unresisted Banish nukes or the few WSs that depend on dMND.

I just got 5/5 Shijin Spiral and have a few questions. I know this isnt the best gear set for it, lacking Toci's and few other decent VW drops. But on higher teir VW mobs i rarely break 1k. Highest ive seen was like 1.5 on Lancing Lamorak and that was with 300tp. Ive tried both RCB and Pizza +1. While Smite is doing 2-3k+ at 100tp most of the time. Anyone with a better gear set getting better numbers at all? or is this not worth it for someone with vere90?

Easiest would be Ulhuadshi as he drops 3 and can be dual boxed rather easily. And only needs 2 KI's that can either be farmed by NMs or chest burned. And yes t3 abyssites break once popped.

Or you can do Turul which is a 10-15min respawn in aby-Kon but only drops 1 and is a pain in the ass. Not hard, but shock spikes if not stunned is a minor annoyance. Ive seen way to many people wipe to this and ive never understood why.

bgwiki has the formula for over 350skill as DA % = floor( Enhancing Magic Skill - 300 ) ÷ 10 )

With 500 skill, it should be 20% DA rate, yes?
404 base skill, 16 from merits, 18 from relic+2 hands, 15 from relic+2 body, 15 from af legs, 15 from af3+2 feet, 7 from colossus torque/enhancing torque, 6 from af3 back, 5 from olympus belt = 501 skill.

...or is there a cap lower than that?

If you look at the talk page, you can see that the highest I tested was 17%. I would guess that you can get 20% at 500 skill, and I would guess that 20% DA rate is the cap in light of the Boost and Gain spell caps. A lot of things seem to cap at 500 skill.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if it would be more beneficial to boost Rng's TP phase or not concidering Dead Aim, using weak WF just for ODD. Or just screw TP phase and boost WF.

UPDATE: power cycled my computer/modem/router and now first character can log in but second one can't.

EDIT: guy in LS saying there was an earthquake in japan, and it prob fucked up the servers.

Impetus perhaps? And Spiral doesn't increase damage on TP, just plague effect. It's not much of an improvement if at all over smite, and you'd really need Spharai to put them on par.

But some stuff you can use for upgrades easy are Anguinus, Thew Bomblet, and if you have on, a Justiciar's if you don't need the acc.
