We'd know already, but no NAs do Walk of Echoes it seems. If each WoE has 4 equipment drops, then it comes from WoE 13 or 14.

When dealing with the merited WSes (specifically Requiescat for BLU while I work on a CDC sword), is it better to go full mods, in this case MND, or work in a mix of str, or is there a ratio of mnd to str or attack that I should use when evaluating a piece of gear? Stuff like the +10 mnd of morri feet seem like a no-brainer, but I'm curious about things like Atheling vs. a MND backpiece (I think the highest you can get is +6). Also, MND ring or epona's?

New to SMN;
Is the best option to start a BP in the proper elemental Perp- staff then switch to a magian staff with Pet:Matk+/Acc+ ?
Do the <ele>affinity: damage+ work for pets?
What order should I do the Perp- staffs in? Most useful > Least useful
Any group 2 merits that I need to max over others?
Preferred atmas to use?
Examples of decent Magical/physical BP sets and avatar out idle set

Start with the perp staff, switch to the magian staff of your choosing (or a Soulscourge) before the blood pact goes off.
I do not think that most equipment transfers to the pet unless it it specifies "Pet", "Avatar", or the specific avatar's name.
I did Wind, Ice, Thunder, Dark, Fire, Water, Earth, Light. Wind, Ice, Thunder (or Thunder then Ice), then any order really, the first three will be your bread and butter. (Although Ifrit is now my favorite avatar for just running around and killing things because Flaming Crush is pretty strong against weaker things, and I get sick of seeing the main three all the time.) Doing the perp staves is a shit ton of work though, and a lot of people seem to think that it is not worth the time. I personally think it was worth it, but a lot of people disagree. Vehemently.
Max out Heavenly Strike.
Depends on what you are doing. If you are going to be primarily using physical Blood Pacts, use physical atmas, magial atmas for magical Blood Pacts. I rarely set Refresh atmas on SMN.
I haven't played in the last few months, so I am not quite sure if there is anything better than the gear I was using, plus I can't think of all of the pieces that I used. lol

Probably going to reactivate within the next week because I have a few days to play, and was looking at the level cap. From checking the shouts on FFXIAH every now and then I haven't seen any shouts for doing the last genkai. Is it soloable with the item that makes him run? Trying to see what the options are. Fucking group fights.

I see shouts in jueno all the time. Doubt you can solo it with the item. You basically would have to do 25-30k dmg in 1 min while it is running around

While mucking about in Grauberg [S], has anyone else come across Ambitious Arnold right in front of Areuhat's cave?

It's an "Earthwyrm" that's involved in the New Years event. Doesn't seem to move, so if anyone needs to spam trade to get a snowman cap.

Pup hat options for WS outside of maats/anwig? I don't see much, aside from just using af3 head or the h2h hachimaki.

Other than those options:

For Stringing Pummel, Athos's chapeau, Gnadbhod's Helm, or even Ocelomeh headpiece (in uncapped dDEX situations, it's very solid).

For Sijin Spiral, Ocelomeh headpiece.

How about legs outside of usukane/athos? Seems like the only options are af3/af2. I also just noticed SE put pup on sweven gear instead of kacura, wow...

Af3+2 legs are very solid, don't be afraid of WSing in them. Usukane legs are superior, yeah, but the Cirque+2 set is really nice.

You can get avatarites in Abyss, too, only that weather won't be there to boost your drop rates, you'll have to rely on day.

About the "Elemental weapon skill damage increases depending on day" on the Mekira-oto. Is it known how this functions?

I haven't seen any details anywhere. And while it's basically the same description as the imperial weapons, that doesn't necessarily mean it works the same.

For someone who has never done a .dat swap before, is it possible to replace the Abyssea confluxes with some other model to get rid of that horrible lag they cause? If so which file is the conflux? and whats an appropriate file to replace it with?

This is what I reckon perfect exenterator set would be, but I could be mistaken on some slots.
ocelomeh+1, hyoui's gorget, the AGI+8 set earrings
athos body, skadi hands, stormsoul x2
atheling, crudelis, ambushers, and then af3+2 feet for Thf, or Athos Boots for Dnc

a "good" set, could be something like
ocelomeh NQ, arctiers, drone x2
denali, skadi, stormsoul x2
atheling, crudelis, ambushers, af3+2 for thf, the 10AGI AH boots for Dnc.
