Tad bit harder to get 100% critrate in Ronfaure.

Knocking their HP down low enough that only the first hit will land is one option.

Sekkanoki is one of several solutions to that problem. It's really not that much of an issue.

Can augment your tp/hit to get within .5 of 100TP with any weapon.

What would be an ideal tp setup for a Gungnir drg (492 delay; 5-hit?, 6-hit? What would they look like)? What about an ideal Stardiver setup, or at least a pretty good one? What's changed much in the way of Drakesbane gear now at 99? Also sort of seeking a decent Geriskogul set that would be nice for completing the trials to level up the weapon; looking ahead. Sorry for the multitude of questions, have been taking a bit of a break from this job and looking into possible setups, thanks.

I'm closing in on 1500 plates for Daurdabla and I'm having second thought on turning the plates in now. The only benefit the 95 provides over the 90 is an additional 6 seconds of buffs. Upgrading it now will have pretty much no noticeable effect.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question but should I just sit on the plates for now on the off chance they decide to reduce the plate requirement? Or is it absurd to think that SE would reduce the requirement?

Personally, I'm not even bothering. You also don't know how hard the 99 Trial is going to be yet, or if the 99 version is even final. Obviously as is, 99 Daurdabla is the best instrument in the game and completely shits on Gjallarhorn.

As long as plate pouches are added in new VW, or other content (potentially at higher rates or at least on better mobs actually worth spamming) the price should come down (sort of irrelevant if you already have 1500) and I wouldn't be surprised at a reduction from 1500 after the 99 trials are actually released.

The flip side is that the trials remain at 1500, no new methods of obtaining HMP are introduced and the price skyrockets due to no one actually doing Uptala/Aello/Qilin.

Sounds pretty noticeable. It's a simple question to yourself, will you spend 150m on 6more seconds for your songs? yes or no. Waiting in the hopes that SE decreases the number is the same risk of the possibility that SE leaves the number as is, but increases drop rate and thus devalues what you have...

i dont think it is, personally, but a fellow I was around got all hot and bothered about me not using it. seems like it's more useful for beastmaster or a thief that can cap haste without body - if thats even possible.

Meh, if you're already close to 1500, you've come this far, may as well finish it just to be different than others on your server. Plus I mean, 6 seconds of extra buffs never hurts.

There any info on Dhampyr sword yet? Got one today, haven't had time to test other than smacking Too Weak mobs with it and watching it drain back 200-300hp once in awhile, curious if it'll be a decent offhand for soloing some stuff.

Why do you need 100% crit rate? If you are testing crit rates on WS just use it a shitload of times and count how many crit'd.

I've off handed it after a convert in dyna on blu proc rate is kind of low to rely on it, can't say i'd see much use it in personally though it is funny see such high return rates.

Speaking of "is it useful" any use for Lux Pugio or Supernal knife? I have both ( only other magian dagger I have is OA2-4)(have all jobs)
