So prolly a stupid question but is 5 hit ukon better than 6 hit ukon? I know theres been a lot of debating on 5 hit masamune lately.

I haven't tested it, so taking the 13 TP/Hit listed on Wiki for granted, it would take a static 54 STP to 5 hit. It's feasible, but I would have to say this seems to be one of the more likely consensus candidates for 6 hits over 5.
It's obviously situation dependant, as vague as that turns out to be.
(This is without sacrificing food or haste etc for Store TP, or other outside influences such as Atma, corsair rolls and the like.)
Added: Light gorget/belt works, I'd imagine Thunder and Breeze do also, if thats what was being asked
Going to brew some apademak tomorrow. What would be my best options:
- Jishnu's Radiance > Jishnu's Radiance with RR GH SS
- CDC > CDC with Apoc RR GH
- Sanguine Blade with Cosmos, Banisher, and <I'm not sure for 3rd one>
Also any other stuff I should watch out other than stunning the 1st self-cast thunder based spell after it pops? I don't need any screen, do I?
Of those 3 sanguine blade would probably be the best. Ultimate would be your best 3rd atma unless you are messing with day/weather stuff. Looks like you have rng so trueflight would do slightly more dmg. Cata if you got the gearing/atmas for it is about as good as sanguine blade too
Not sure I'd really worry about stunning it. Not like you wont still over power it brewed. If you want to be really safe could use petri shield in case something weird happens and you get hit with lithic
Back when I originally quit most people had Home Point in Whitegate or home nation and (I believe) would use Qufim OP to get from home nation to Jeuno quickly. Is this still the preferred means of transportation to Jeuno for those with Home Point in their home nation? Right now I'm sitting with HP in Jeuno until I get around to getting all the OPs on my new account, but just wondering for future knowledge.
I was just thinking in the time it takes him to cast it you and use fulm could just kill him... from what I've heard sanguine blade is 2-3 shotting
Sanguine does 2-3 shot, but in most cases he's done casting way before you can use it 3 times.
I would still worry about whether the THF will get at least 1 hit in when I brew them. But it seems they will have enough time to land 1 hit, doesn't it.
So you would suggest:
1. buff with all haste I can get,
2. cast utsu
3. pop petrify screen
4. pop brew
5. stun first thunder spell cast
6. sanguine blade 2-3x
7. recast utsu
8. freeze brew until the next one popped and back to 5
right?
How does the salvage dc glitch work where someone dc's, but the rest of pt goes in?
1. doesn't matter, brew has 50/tic regain, so use a Sanguine gearset
2. yes
3. don't need to, it won't get TP
4. yes
5. yes
6. yes
7. no, will waste a few seconds of your brew time, and the enstun isn't 100%. 4 shadows will last for 2-3 mobs brews, so either recast when it takes all shadows or just hope you are lucky enough not to get stunned.
8. yes
7. If it's :ni, can try to recast between sanguines while you regain up.
The utsu isnt a big deal, as I said, and others have said, the enstun isnt a high proc rate, and it lasts 1-2 seconds, usually time you're getting TP for the next WS. Fulm stun is the one that will fuck you over, not only cuz it lasts 6-10 sec, but your thf might not be able to get TH on fast enough if every action is paralyzed.
Of course you could always get th on before you unlock brew...
Or just not be retarded and stun the spells so you get as many kills as possible.
Is there any reason on mnk for me to care about gear with "Kick Attacks" on them? Any situation where having a good kick attacks set will actually be worth it?
When I was brewing Apademek with wildfire, I just popped a powder (I think fool's is what blocks it) before i popped a brew and had our stun stun on pop.
Despite what Dasva seems to think, you really want to make sure you stun his spells.
