Can have other people use it as well. When I brewed I was doing about 10-12 per brew with wildfire. Sang blade should get about 8 i think. Using Fool's Powder is a nice option though.
Yeah that's what I meant about rotating them... is there some reliable way of getting powders? Like some nm they drop off a bit?
I'm sure there is, just not sure off the top of my head. I get so many of them when gold box farming that it was never an issue of having to find them.
I keep reading lots of people saying the +25 TP Bonus earring is so great and best in slot etc etc. Is there any actual proof that Crit rate scales with TP between 100-199 TP, and doesn't just jump at 200TP like FTP does with "damage varies with TP" WS?
Secondly, even if it does increase crit rate on crit WSs by 1.5% or whatever it is that's generally assumed - why are people who choose the regain instead of TP Bonus flamed/insulted/laughed at? One adds a small boost to WS damage, the other gives you a souce of regain in voidwatch when you're not meleeing for TP (you can stand out of AoE with your weapon drawn). Furthermore, does everyone who chooses the TP Bonus +25 augment not have a mage job? Because wouldn't either refresh or Occ. Quickens Spellcasting do more for a mage than a slight boost to WS damage would do for a melee?
fTP doesn't "jump", that's why it's good for Torcleaver, Fudo, etc. I don't think there's any hard proof for critrate though.
Oh I had no idea ftp scaled up between 100-199 and 200-299, I had assumed it just jumped at 100/200/300.
is a 4hit build for arma cor worth it? minds sharing some TP sets?
I use a 5 hit, but between Tacticians, Misers, Meditate and Triple Shot, it's rare if i ever shoot more than once before getting 100%TP. In fact even with 5 hit I get so much TP already, and can WF so many times that I'm capped hate well before my first roll has worn off and can't keep spamming. Since the whole point of a 4hit is faster WS frequency, which is irrelevant about 3 minutes into a VW fight, all you're doing is gimping your TP/QD/WS damage (as you have to sacrifice damage for STP pieces).
I'm trying to reactivate my character. When I log into playonline and go to member section it tells me to go to the Square Enix Account Management (I'm assuming the website secure.square-enix.com) and reactivate it there. When I log into the square-enix account website, I don't see a single option there that lets me reactivate my characters.
How do I reactivate my character? Thank you for the help in advance. (As a note, I have a security token and have transferred over my account to a square-enix account.)
Do most (all?) physical Blood Pacts crit and I just didn't know it?
Using SS RR and MM on summoner, was fooling around with other avatars, spinning dive would do 1.5k or 3.0k. Mountain Buster would do the samish. Poison nails did 300 or 700. Ditto for Baracuda dive.
Don't have any DA gear for pets, not using Emp +2, no multi-attack from atmas, and damage clearly fell into one of two ranges, not a continuum.
I HP in Bastok because I cannot stand the stupid in Jeuno. I have main three ways to get to Jeuno- take the Qufim OP and hoof it, use a Duchy Earring (I need to fix the timer on that page...), or go to Whitegate and use the pay warp Taru to go directly to Jeuno. I haven't used the airship in years, most of the time you will get there faster by OPing and running unless you get amazingly lucky like the airship is waiting for you as you get there. You can also use an Atmacite Refiner to warp right outside of the zone in exchange for 1,000 Cruor, but that seems wasteful to me.
Considering a person who has WAR(Ukon) NIN(Kannagi) BLU&PLD(Almace) DNC, what uses would an Anguinus Belt have, if any ?
General use Blade: Hi waist, accuracy WS (and steps for DNC) piece for WAR/BLU/PLD/DNC.
Is anyone else's Corsair AF3+2 feet broken? They're supposed to give a 20% boost to dmg of the same element following the QD for 15 seconds. Meaning if you QD>QD, the 2nd one gets a 20% boost, or if you QD(Fire)>WF, WF gets a 20% Boost. But recently for me they're only working occasionally. Sometimes I'll Fire Shot>Fire Shot and the damage will be the same. Similarly, sometimes I'll Fire Shot>Wildfire and WF's damage wont be boosted.
It's not lag of the feet not swapping in on time, firstly my normal Idle/Ranged/QD sets use them so they're pre-equipped anyway, secondly I have a 0.5 castdelay in spellcast. It's not lag of firing too quickly afterwards, I thought it might be and so give myself a good 2-3 seconds sometimes before 2nd QD or WF and it still only sometimes recieves the 20% boost. It's not the perticular mob giving a resist, it's very unlikely that the mob happens to resist the 2nd QD by exactly 20% (is it even possible? I thought everything resisted magic damage by 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 etc), and also this is accross all mobs. Trash mobs in/out abyssea, NMs in abyssea, VW mobs, whatever. It only sometimes works :<
Is it supposed to only occasionally give 20% boost? If not is it worth submitting a bug report on SE forums?
When PLing someone with GoV, level difference doesn't matter right? i.e. If I'm 95MNK doing the KRT GoV, the other person can be level 10 and still get exp from the book?
They need to be high enough level to get 1 xp from the mob. If they're level 10 and you're level 95, they get 4.44% of your XP, so as long as you're getting 23 or more XP per mob, you'd be fine.
If it's just you and your newb in the party, you'd be fine as long as the mobs are 65+. For more people in the party, you need progressively higher level mobs or a higher level newb.
