Random glitch question: My /say is broken. Filter is off, but can't see shit captain. Tried everything short of reinstalling FFXI. No go. Anyone ever had a similar problem, and how did you fix it?

Edit: resolved the issue. Chatmon seems to be cockblocking my say channel. No idea why.

I really don't know what you're using Bst for, or why you're single wielding. I can't envisage a reason to use that particular setup, is there something fStr or dDex related you haven't divulged? That obviously implies you know what you're fighting, which is more than I can say.

Swap to the +2 Body and Feet, use Dusk gloves +1, dual wield your best available weapons, eat red curry. The above setup gives you almost exactly the same amount of Acc if that's what you're aiming for, but you're tossing a sizeable chunk of Attack (around 24 and 3% DA as a bonus) for some Str Dex that I can't see the reason for as yet.

Any particular reason you mention single wielding suppa and ignore the fact your TP setup contains a jug broth?

Get a Hagneia stone, or a White tathlum or something. Anything

Can you not server transfer without a SE account? And if it is required to have one, does that mean I have to go through all of that new payment crap to do so?

Been working some BST sets, and there's two different situations that should be accounted for while on BST, Pet Melee only and Pet/player Melee together.

After that, you have to look at what your gonna be subbing, /NIN or DNC most times, haven't mathed stuff (not that good at it to be honest) if /WAR is ever viable. OrRRR you could be subbing a mage job, which....is honestly rare now adays since if your in a position to DD with your Pet, staying healed up can be accomplished /DNC and mitigating dmg can be achieved /NIN

Now you can build your gear based off those scenarios:

I have, or am currently building:
Idle (-DT gear, Regen/Refresh, Movement speed)
Pet Idle (gear that buffs pet : -DT, DA, acc, atk, haste,etc.)
Haste set
Haste+Pet set
Reward Set (with variables that can remove which ever status buffs you need)

And then of course, the standard, MDT, PDT, WS, etc.

you'll need, a khimara bonnet, ogre gloves, relic feet and hands, 2x zoraal ja's ax's, 2x Pet: PDT axes (magian), 2x Pet : Evasion+ (magian)

You can cap (26%) haste on yourself and on your pet (14%) with a small collection of some clutch gear : Kjhurrpha ax (2%), Oneiros Cluster (1%), Spurrer Beret (3%player5%pet), Ferine Gauspae +2 (2%), Dusk gloves +1 (4%), Moepapa stone (5%player5%pet) Ferine Quiknsdkfjhajshuvnwrevh +2 (7%) and the feet are either adaman/Armada feet with Augment: Pet haste +1~4

Also I have my a spellcast, which someone gave me, and i can't for the life of me remember who it was or i would give them the credit, as it is an awesome thought out spellcast.
I tweeked it a bit and it works out fairly well for me. PM if your interested in it. I don't want to flat out post it until i can remember/find out who sent it to me.

As mentioned, Dusk +1 hands and AF+2 feet and body. Tonatiuh axe is affordable now if you can't be bothered making a trial weapon to offhand.

My windower ffxi occasionally crashes when I try to view the full ffxi text log in game (where u see all tells chats in game actions etc.). Its normally maximum of 5-6 lines but if I view all it sometimes dies. Im using windows 7 64 bit edition, spellcast 2.45 and dual boxing 2 characters. Anyone experienced anything similar? I'm not sure what causes the crash but it only kills one character. I go to taskmanager and it says that instance of ffxi is not responding. I can kill it and restart. I know the solution is not look at my log but if anyone got any other possible solutions or experienced anything similar then HELLLLLLPPPP!

It's always been an issue with dualboxing as far as I can remember. Nothing you can do about it as far as I know, the game wasn't designed to have 2 run at the same time.

Click the door to the Marble Bridge to get a cutscene and pick a new ring. If you've never swapped rings before, and had the previous ring for more than a day, you should just be able to pick a new one. If you've tossed it before, you need to get a CS and then wait 27 (or more) earth days before you'll be able to obtain a new one.

You're going to need an SE account for it now and so yes, you'll need to switch everything over.

No need to redo missions. If it's the first time you've tossed a CoP ring, you can literally just walk over and get a new one. If you've tossed/reacquired one before, then you need to go get a cutscene from the Marble Bridge, then wait 27 days from when you get that CS (not from when you dropped the ring) to get a new one.

u can use ffxiutils with windower sandbox plugin! u can download it from windower forum,it just creates links to your pol folder for each of your char(u need to make them, but it's really simple!). that way u'll never crash again and it will never erase again your log!

First time doing AGI Sekkas so I apologize for the questions that have probably been answered a million times. I hate diremites. Is there a better area for that trial? I have NEVER seen wind weather there. When does wind weather pop? Friend says only once in a RL week does weather pop? To try and save time, I use the FF11 Info weather forecast site. It seems accurate; is it?
