How tough are the Vanguard Dragon's in Dynamis-Xarc? I need to farm a Shard, just would like an idea how many people I should bring along.

Any DD/DNC can solo them, I did a few as BST/DNC, with my pet fighting one while I was fighting a different one w/o problem. Can't see any decent DD/DNC dying to one, the most problematic thing would be petro eyes, but if you can turn then it's np.

Yep, Morrigan's. if you precast the addle it'd be cast time/recast/-macc, if you midcast it it's just recast/-macc

Has anyone tested what the -MACC actually is? is it -6 or -6% of your 300+ MACC?

Is this supposed to be a no brainer? I personally still see Taurine as best non-magian h2h pre-Empy.

If there's good data or thought process as to why Grotesque is better I'd like to see it.

Is there evidence out there to prove Blue !! only helps the rarer item drop, or does it affect the easy item as well? Example: Bakka, easy item: Glyph Axe, rarer item: Goetia Chain.

Regarding connection issues to PlayOnline.

Under current circumstances, I cannot log into PlayOnline. (POL-0011, POL-1160)

I am however, able to log in if I have a YouTube video loading.

Once I am logged in, I cannot search, view the online members of my LS, check the AH or zone. Friend list shows friends as being on <Shiva>, without specifying which character they are on, or which zone. This again, is all remedied by having a YouTube video loading.

It's almost like the POL Lobby/connection/host server needs something to push it into moving.

Is there anything on my end I can do to fix this, other than repeatedly refreshing youtube videos?

I haven't taken up a new job since before GoV was introduced, but now I'm leveling /DNC on my alt. What's the lowest level I can start book burning it (and where) with a 95 job?

Behind a fire wall? sounds like port issues bro. idk what ports ffxi uses but it sounds like port mapping / nat issue. i know this bc thats the only way i could get gmail to work on pirated connections. had to have a video loading and then i could connect / upload fine.

I think you need to be level 5 or higher to get a regime's EXP reward for GoV, at least that was the case for us in Zeruhn mines (Places vary by server, but any starting zone dungeon (Zeruhn mines/That french named dungeon under Chateau in Sandy/Toraimarai) works, look what's best for you and less crowded)

Thanks for the response! I was under the impression that the low level PC had to get XP from kills to count against page quotas; is this not the case, or are the mobs in those zones high enough to get XP at level 5 with a 95 in party?

I don't think I am, and it typically works fine.

A guy in my LS has some IT type job, and he told me to kill BitTorrent and restart my router.

Killing BitTorrent and relogging into FFXI seemed to work just fine (so far).

The router is fairly new, however. I didn't do anything to allow ports, so that's also possibly an issue.

Some combination of SA/TA recast (depending on prefference, I went 5/5 SA, some people do 5/5 TA, some split them 2/5 3/5). At least one in Aura Steal, the rest between Feint and Assassin's Charge, Feint will be more important if endgame continues to move more towards traditional endgame with difficult mobs and you do more of that content, Ass Charge more important if you mainly do easier content like salvage/dynamis where accuracy is a non issue.

This is correct, need level 4 to get xp in a duo with a 95 in sandy sewers - as you add more people (alliance, etc) you need to be higher.
