That should depend on how much enmity you generate. The enmity it transfers caps at a certain amount. If your attack generates less enmity than that cap, then it will all be transfered. If your attack generates more enmity than that cap, then the capped amount will be transfered and the rest will still go to you.
That's how I understand it anyway.
Ohh okay, thanks. I don't suppose there's been much testing on that cap yet, has there? lol
was looking for advice on a Mordant Rime build.
I was sorta thinking along the lines of:
Kila +3 / Twilight Knife / Iron Ram Horn / - /
Hecatomb Cap +1 / Love Torque / Delta Earring / Brutal Earring
Kirin's Osode / AF3 +2 Hands / Airy Ring / Dawnsoul Ring /
Atheling Mantle / Cuchulain's Belt / Hecatomb Subligar +1 / AF3 +2 Feet /
none of this is in stone yet, was a bit iffy on a lot of it. specifically Head/Neck/Back/Legs.
was wondering how an augmented heca cap +1 would fair against AF3+2 head. besides that, dont think there's any other options for head, besides Lightsome Cap lol. for legs, im pretty sure heca legs would be best? theres also Byakko's Haidate and Marduk's Shalwar. and then for neck, didnt know if Dualism Collar or a Sea Gorget would beat Love Torque or not.
mostly concerned about back, ive got Atheling Mantle in there, but dunno if a stat back such as Jester's Cape +1 or Aisance Cape +1 would be better than that.
feel free to help out with the rest of the set too, i've no clue what to do for this kinda WS lol XD
Can you raise a better than rental chocobo with nearly no gil investment?
Best way to raise fame in Abyssea- Highlands?
Do elemental obis work on skillchain damage?
Difference between abyssea equipment set and outside equipment set? What should i focus on outside of abyssea?
Brief search done and am unable to find answer. Is there any way to check tonberry hate, or a way to determine if i'm capped? About to buy the collar.
Depends. Which job? Equipment for what -- WS, TP, etc? Also, what are you fighting outside of Abyssea?
There are a few general things to point out. Inside you'll be capped on accuracy on almost everything, as well as fSTR and dDEX. Therefore, inside if you try and stack those stats you won't be getting much in return, unless you're using a WS which is modded by STR/DEX. Still, it's entirely possible you're capping these things outside. I'm not entirely sure on all of the values, though for dDEX I'm sure 140 DEX will cap you on most things that aren't THF. You should be able to eyeball accuracy on most things, but if not you can parse it. I don't think it'd be too much of an issue. But say you're doing VW -- supposedly the mobs' stats are so high you won't get any returns if you try and stack something like DEX. So we need specifics >.>
If you don't have the quest done and/or don't wanna run out to Temple of Uggalepih, you can always just OP to Altepa and grab a Sabotender. Have it hit you until it uses 1000 Needles with the collar on. If you take 1100(assuming you have no other PDT +/- gear on besides Rancor Collar) you're capped. If you buy the collar first that is, lol.
let assume on THF using the ws rudra's storm. Since the ws is modified by 60% dex. From what you explained, using hecatomb cap over deceit mask for ws is better on the outside but while in abyssea. I just make dump in as many dex as possible?
What about equipment with +attack? where does this take priority over stats?
Mercy stroke is 60% str not dex. So try for mostly str and att. In this case dex wont really matter at all not being a ws mod and because the ws can't crit unless you force it and then it's 100%. Well other than acc but there are better ways of getting acc... namely acc gear. Att priority is kinda tricky. It's usefulness depends largely on how much you got already mob lvl it's def not to mention if you are critting or not. Generally speaking use it if theres alot especially if not a high stat item in that slot or it comes with the stats you want. So for thf legs and back and maybe waist will probably be it for att gear.
Are there any known tricks to farming a Tarutaru Sash with TH+1, like a certain mob etc? otherwiki says to farm toads.
