Thanks for the cor stuff. I guess next time I know I'm fighting fodder crap I'll shoot Slug in my detonator gear and see how it compares. I'm reluctant to drop acc from that Slug set though because on a lot of high-tier VW my normal TP accuracy is horrible. My Macc seems fine, WF and QD are almost never resisted, but for example on Pil even Detonator doesn't seem to be capped acc, and I thought it had a native Acc boost like most one-hit WS. When I'm cycling through WS procs for marksmanship most of them miss. One time I even gave myself hunters roll and sushi and was still only hitting 70% racc rate in normal TP shooting (gear is similar to slug shot). But next dynamis I'll go with detonator gear for slug shot and report back, thanks.

FFXI Calculator has a tab for skillchains and includes all current WS and some blue magic; mine probably hasn't been update but it's missing the latest spells for me.

Is there a use in making a OA2-4 or a DA dagger for Thwashtar DNC or THF?

Other options I already have include Triplus, Onyos, AGI Kila, DEX Kila, either of the WS trial weapons.

I think the DA dagger might be okay for DNC, but on THF, probably stick with the Triplus for now.

I don't think that there has been any substantive testing to know how Ebon Light works for sure. Square said that it increases the potency of all lights, but exactly how is anyone's guess.

Quick question, considering now at 95 and future level cap of 99.... BST, THF merits(both group 1 and 2 please)? Also SAM group 2? i have 4 shikikoyo 1 blade bash 5 overwhelm, planning a masamune, but I've been told to change shikikoyo to ikishoten, and I was thinking of making overwhelm 4 since spinning nms are not fun to deal with...

I always believed it merely boosted the amount of lights you get from whatever you kill. If nobody knows what it actually does, do people at least know what it does NOT do?

I can confirm that it is correct, I did a cruor PT with my LS and we were capping out on Colibri / Bats around 350ish I think per kill, started poping ebon and we ended up getting 505 on colibri, 535 on bats, we were at capped silvery lights and as high as the chain was going to give us when we started doing it.

Ebon definitely helps, I always bring my own Keys just for Gold,Silver,Ebon chest since everyone seems to skip them.
