Well, that's very Interesting~

My previous test up there, used gallant leggings +1. It's in my XML, so it always uses them for Holy circle. Didn't really think about it. So I tested without them.

Atonement. 300% TP, High enmity, Holy circle, without Gallant feet. 862
And another, same mob seconds later, 140%~ TP(just to make sure I had hate capped.) 862

750*1.15=862.5 Floored=862
So there's that +15% I remembered...

So, Gallant Leggings +1 Add +2% to the holy circle damage bonus.

Should test if the NQ also have this effect. But I don't have them anymore.

It also makes me wonder if other circle enhancing gear does this. Drachen Brais and Ancient circle, etc.

Might put a copy of these posts in the random facts thread.

Reconfirmed BST/DRK only gets +5% Arcane Circle effect. 664/633 = 5%.

The last test is to confirm that other party members get +15% when a main job uses it.

I tested that earlier, I've just been compiling a lot of circle data before I made a new post. I used HC on my WHM alt, and had him holy the mobs a few times. 291 base holy. W/circle(w/gallant) 340. +17%.

Extremely saddened it is so gimped when subjobbed. Would be fun to crank out an extra 15% dmg against some mobs. Super fun numbers when brewing lol

Can someone explain to me how the Experimental Lamia glitch works please? I searched it but still not exactly sure what I'm sposed to do >.> Do I just pop it, run away and it freezes and I can just nuke it down?

Is the effect of reprisal known? I remember reading that shield block rates (bar Ochain) cap at 65%. Does Reprisal break this?

Stronghold, Mounted Champion, Vicissitude for shield skill ups? Or Lion since my PDT won't be capped (30%)?

Assuming Sea Daughter & Mounted Champion: Ultimate or cosmos when solo spamming Cataclysm?

I thought it would randomly glitch after you fought the three adds. Maybe there's more to it.

This is how it was explained the last time I asked about it:
Most ranged attacking monsters will chase after you once they hit 75% HP. Lamia will, but only if she doesn't have any summons out. If she summons, you kill them, and she's out of range when the last one dies then she will never switch out of this mode and close the gap. She'll just sit back there and shoot arrows at you until someone accidentally walks into melee range.

I think its something like 200 distance. You can be pretty far out of range to get credit, which is why I wanted to punch babies durring weapon trials "OMG IM NOT IN RANGE IM NOT ENGAGED DONT KILL IT"...

Was aksing more to see how far from the book I can travel to kill while leeching another character. Thanks for the responses.

You can set the book to renew pages automatically, so I'm not sure why that matters.
