    Thf Merits:
    Group 1: 5 in Triple Attack, 5 split between SA/TA (5/0, 0/5, 2/3, 3/2, up to you)
Group 2: 1 Aura Steal, Rest between Assassin's Charge and Feint. (More in Ass Charge if you think you'll only do weak shit like abyssea, More in Feint if you anticipate SE rleasing tough enemies again).

Denali is also very good on wildfire. Forget if the boost they are getting will make them even better for it should be somewhere in the test server thread... so much added in the last week or so lol.

Also personally I like 5/5 aura then the rest between AC and feint. It's rather nice to definitely steal buffs if you remember to. Especially with the buffs that are significantly stronger than the players version of it lol

Noticed this yesterday too. It's annoying. It wants a login, which I don't have, so who knows if you can reach the discussion page after logging in? Anyone know what's going on?

I've tried testing it but couldn't get anywhere. My next step was going to be 300TP Spirits Within.

Idk about salvage but I seem to remember getting it in campaign a long time ago when people actuallly cared to get freelancer support. Iirc it made the next dmg I did decently higher though can't remember how much. Mostly used it with blu spells and ws

I can't do any runs until I get my PS2 controller -> USB converter. I've been frozen for almost two weeks, lol.

I'm "raging" at you because you're the one continuing the "Macarons improve skills up" conspiracy. From my point of view it's by no means proven, and nothing more than baseless hearsay like directional crafting or moon phase, so you passing it off as possibly proven is passing along faulty information. If you consider it proven and consider yourself passing along factual information then obviously we can just agree to disagree. In regards to the official forums, I've never posted there and have no faith in my question being addressed.

I will, however, do my part if we can figure an easy/reliable way to test this. I know in fishing you will not continue to see skill ups in your log if you are @ blue crafting level cap, is it the same for regular crafts? It'd be easy as hell to sit at 10 cap, and spam some level 15 synth or something, but I doubt that works...

What would another option be? Take 2 characters and do the exact same synths on them with 1 having eaten kitron and 1 without? Then keep track of the number of skill ups per synths? I have no idea of the number of synths you'd need to "prove" one way or the other? This would also be going on a huge assumption that crafting skill ups are equal whether you're 1 level from cap, or 15 on a successful synth (as posted in the "crafting bible sticky)." I don't know!

It doesn't work, unfortunately. If you're at cap, you can't skillup anymore.

If someone really wants to take a hit, they could take a second craft past 60 and de-level a 100 craft if they really wanted to parse skillups. Or just make new characters.

When I talked to Elmer, he looked around on several boards to see if he could find anything else. He did not say that anyone on these boards denied that the Macaron and Rusk information was in FFXI Dengeki no Ryodan-hen Vana'diel Official World Guide 2010 Vol. 2; I am quite sure that with the fan-base that FFXI has, someone would have pointed out something that crucial. There are several books like this that get information from Square about the game that are only sold to Japanese players.

I have been thinking about a way to test it. It is fairly similar to what you came up with, except switching which character is using the macaron. For example, Septimus has 9 bonecraft and Atum has 0 Bonecraft. I would get both of their bonecraft skills to 10, then on the same game days synth the same items. I would start off at 0:00 using a macaron on Septimus and doing a specific number of synths with both of them, then at 12:00 have Atum use a macaron and do the same number of synths. Do this over many levels. I figure that switching which character is using the macaron half-way through the day would compare two characters against each other and against themselves making for a more robust data-set. (Also, if there is an effect from the macarons, it would keep the characters from getting too far apart skill-wise.)

Looking at the design, I do see a major problem- bonecrafting is fucking awful. I could use my mules who have 0 crafting skill, but I have no idea what would be a good skill that wouldn't have hard-to-get and/or non-stacking ingredients. (Maybe Alchemy; both of my characters have mules in Bastok, and it is not pull-your-teeth expensive to 50.)

Also, if you could, please do make a thread on the official forums asking for information. Post the link here, we might be able to get some attention from the community reps...

Can you proc regular (time spawn) NMs in dynamis? If so, does it effect them dropping 100 pieces?
