Not really... would say Alexander, even at 95, is still harder than Lilith tbh.

When that BC first came out, I did it with a friend using MNK, WAR, and WHM. (I two-boxed WAR and WHM.) As long as you have a heavy DD that can take some hits and a healer, I think that a duo would be pretty easy, but I would imagine that even still that soloing would be quite hard. The NPC is made out of wet paper and the mobs seem to run after her until you do something to them- that is going to be the biggest limiting factor to soloing.
Reinstalling on another laptop. Installed off discs, updated POL, then replaced ffxi folder with fully updated one from other system. Seems to work fine, runs the game etc.
Problem is windower. I downloaded and installed latest from website, but running the launcher from the windower folder opens the normal POL, not the windower one... halp?
Is there any point at which Iga Dochugappa is a better back than Atheling? Also, with uncapped haste on NIN in Abyssea, (only due to still building gear) are Byakko's Haidate or Usukane Hizayoroi better?
Need Dynamis - Valkurm/Qufim wins for Tav. access - what should I expect from the zone bosses at 95 (I've never attempted either)?
I have myself as Kannagi/BST/BLU/PLD/WHM/BLM/DRG, a mule as WHM/BLM/RDM/BRD, and likely at least 1-2 others who need the win (probably NIN/MNK/THF/SAM/RNG on one, maybe BLM/THF/??? on another. Possibly another person & their mule.). I'm not well-versed on zergs, if that's the recommendation.
Edit: Willing to level another job if it'd help alot.
What is the best and fastest way to level BST from 12-30? Which FOV pages do I get, the zones, the mobs? Thanks.
Thanks, I'll see how it goes. So it sounds like Extremely Bad Breath is the only real danger for either of these bosses, assuming enfeebling items are used? Keep DoT on, and everyone in range of potential charmga breath (assuming it isn't 100% locked with item)?
From personal experience, got up to ToAU 15? (black coffin) back as 65 bst. Had some help with that one, then didn't touch the rest for a long time. Used 95THF (mostly ah gear) and was able to solo the rest of the way up to the final 2 fights. Didn't try the escort flayer mission solo (got a friend to keep her healed), but we had bad luck on Alex duo and wiped at 3%.
WotG, can't say much about it. Up to Feast for Gnats (windy), but stupid escort mission giving me too much trouble.
If attack is capped and you're gaining a significant amount of critrate from Iga's DEX, it's slightly better. Assuming use of Jin, attack capped alone is probably a sufficient condition for it to be better for WS. TP in Haidate, preferably augmented but still better than Usukane without.
cool thanks for all the advice, currently leveling an alt for dual-boxing so with that hopefully shouldn't be too much trouble, and on that note i assume that the best way to level it would be 1-30 on GoV then leech it to 95? or would it be worthwhile doing pages on main and dragging the alt along side?
Got Tav access for a few of our groups 2-boxes not too long ago, and the only boss that presented any difficulty was Valk. We did it with 2/3 of the enfeeble items, only one we didnt get was the one from Fairy Ring, cause there were BSTs killing funguars at that time, and I secretly hoped he would agro them and they would die and thus make me happy. We all know watching a BST die in Dynamis makes everything better. The boss was not something that was overly easy, but it wasnt horrible either. Not knowing exactly what to expect, he killed our NIN and DNCs with his poison move, and our THF was able to hold and kill it with just some poisona and cure support. I believe that the poison difficulty would be negated or lessened with the enfeeble item from Fairy Ring.
Overall, the three bosses are not hard, just dont take Valk boss too lightly. After raping the Bubu and Qufim bosses the previous nights, we were a bit too over confident.
