I only WS in 9% DA on DRG. Brutal and Emp +2 hands.

Even if you used 15%, needing an extra hit 14% of the time is a 3.5% drop in WS frequency, which is going to be close to a 2% drop in total damage. Consider whether whatever sacrifice you'd need to make to avoid that, since it's likely to cost less than 2% total damage.

A friend has a problem with the Xbox version a few years ago he played FFXI but quit now he wants to return and bought the ultimate edition and made a new account, but when he tried to log in with the xbox it says that he can only link 1 SE account to 1 Xbox account (which was already linked to the old account that he quit) is there anyway to reset the old account so that he could play with his new account on xbox? He doesnt want to make a new account (because you cant join party chats with silver accounts etc)

i actually ran into this when my ps2 HDD shat the bed, and i was trying to play my main char on my xbox, where i usually only play my taru mule-bitch. after asking around a bit, it turns out that if you have xbox live gold you need to call xbox and downgrade to silver. once your on silver you can make another gamer-tag and link the new account to that. I'm not 100% sure, but that SHOULD work. my HDD came in a few days later and i never got around to actually doing it, but thats the theory i ended up with

Best mob for BST AF3+1 head seals? We killed Kharon the Annoying Skeleton in Attohwa Chasm 7 times last night (5 with yellow proc) and got a total of one. Then went and killed Mielikki the Slightly Less Annoying Tree once (with yellow) and got another one. Thanks for advice.

Also, is Moogle Kupo D'Etat head better than the BST AF3+1/2? If so, how many needed to beat the fight these days (I currently have the WHM version of the hat and would need to redo it). Thanks again!

Had the exact same thing happen with Kharon, except it was 8 kills 5 with grellow, and we got none. Shit is random.

What are you going to use it for on Bst? It's good for pet: PDT/haste, that's the only augment I ever see on it from Bsts...

Blu can solo the fight, Sam practically can too; he takes triple damage and light/dark with SC bonus can pretty much one shot him if high enough.

Yes, those would be the augments I'd be looking at. I'd heard that BLU can solo the battle but had dismissed it as restricted to those with perfect gear, so thanks for the confirmation.

I do know a very good BLU and a very good SAM who incidentally also need to redo the fight, and a very good BLM, plus I could go BRD and buff the hell out of all three of them, so this could get interesting pretty fast.

492 delay: If you WS in 42STP (/Sam, Brutal, Rajas, Rose, Tyrant's, Hagneia, AF3+2 body. After that you start gimping WS damage pretty badly) and plan for at least a 3hit drakesbane (more reasonable than a 4hit) you'll need 19.8 TP/hit in your TP phase, requiring 49STP.

To get 49STP: /Sam, Rose Strap, Hagneia Stone, Hyoui's Gorget, Brutal, AF3+2 Body, Tyrant's, Rajas, Goading Belt. AF3+2 Feet, Ace's Hose, Dusk Gloves+1, Zelus Tiara on top of that would cap your haste.
You don't lose that much on your WS damage (Some DA from polegrip, Str from pyrosoul) but you lose a chunk of DA/TA from polegrip/calmecac towards ws frequency and tp damage and also crit/attack from not having rancor/af3+2 helm etc. You also have to keep all that STP on for jumps. You're don't have to sacrifice quite as much with a 502 (OAT) delay lance, which is why that's definitely the way to go.

I'm not sure where I stand on 492 delay 5hits. It looks pretty solid there, but I sware I went over it a heap in Post Pics of your Gear, and the Regain Moonshade thread and concluded that you needed Moonshade regain to make it worthwhile... eh.

i was thinking along the lines of WSing in 37 STP (Rose/+2 body/sam sub/brutal/rajas/white talthum or hag stone), which should leave me with 20.8 tp if I hit 3/4 on DB

then i'd throw on another +12/13 STP (tyrant or hoard ring/goading belt/(brisk mask OR chiv chain and fourth mantle)) for 49-50 total, which should get me the 19.8/hit i'd need for a 5 hit

The OAT lance looks decent, especialy since the +3 got a nice base dmg boost, but ... 42/70 jades... gungnir.... yeah, gonna be stuck with 492.

It says that it's a for life linking. But i have called up SE before and gotten my xbox live account unlinked before. Roll the dice hope you get a good rep. Make up some bullshit story that someone logged into their account a while back evidently on your xbox live account and you never knew it.

4 hit requires Mekki Shakki, Rose Strap, Emp hands/legs, Hyohi Necklace, , Rajas, Hoard(Tyrant's Ring), Emp Mantle. Ws Phase requires your normal set.

5 hit you can remove whatever you think is unnecessary, back to your regular ranged gear.

Cure casting time -/fast cast caps, how do they work?

Fast Cast has two components, Cast Time- and Recast Time- which are applied separately at different stages during casting.

All Cast Time- effects are processed at the start of a cast. Recast Time- Effects are processed at the end of a cast.

Cast Time reduction caps at 80%. Recast Time reduction caps at 50%.

Cure Cast Time and FastCast's Cast Time- effects are Additive, I believe - someone can correct me if I'm off on this point.

EDIT: 99 War/Nin 8/8 katana/GK merits and Torque + Fazhuleo + Bushi + Moepapa Annulet is all GK procs, and Torque + Hachimaki or Tjukurrpa is all katana procs.

Is it worth coming back to if I have no friends that play still? I quit when the second abyssea expansion came out. Is it still sit in an abyssea party and level up, or did they break away from it?
